Post by bunniefuu »

We have an anorexic girl.

Like, I swear to God,

like, when she walked in the house

I though she was going to break in half.

Get out of the [bleep] damn car!

JANELLE: Paula definitely has some sort of issue with John.

I think John reminds her of someone

she used to date.

I really think the best thing at this point

that we can offer to you

is for you to seek out professional help for this.

Captioning sponsored by MTV TELEVISION NETWORKS

This is the true story...

Gorgeous, man.

Of seven strangers...[ laughter ]

Picked to live in a house...

Work together and have their lives taped...

Whoa!

To find out what happens...[ gasping ]

When people stop being polite...

And start getting real.

ALL: The Real World: Key West.

[phone ringing]

Hello.

Is Paula there?

Who's this?

It's Keith.

Keith? Okay, hold on.

Paula Walnuts, Keith is on the phone.

Keith is

an ex-boyfriend

that I dated on and off,

I'd say, three years.

The only thing that ever really makes me right

is getting to talk to you, you know?

Like, I freak out about that...

It's so weird.

I was on my way inside to call you.

It was just a very

intense relationship.

Very up and down, you know, expl*sive,

passionate-- good and bad.

I can deal with you having insecurities and worries

and things that bother you

forever-- for the rest of our lives--

but what I can't deal with

is you not being part of my life.

It was, like,

emotionally and physically a*usive

and I took it because when you're at that point,

it's like, you're, like, down so low,

you're, like, "I deserve it," or "I can fix it."

It's the only thing

that makes me right, though-- you.

You can do whatever you want, but if I don't hear from you,

you can be damn sure I'm going to call you.

He's a, he's a very tough, tough character.

Well, no, it's his fault.

He just [bleep] so bad that I'm [bleep]...

Like, cheated on you with your best friend?

Worse. Had sex with a guy?

No, different worse.

How'd he do that?

What Paula's saying is Keith

put her in the hospital because he physically hurt her.

The easiest way to say it is he lost control

and the only way that I could get it back

was I got him arrested.

Um, and I had a restraining order against him.

That's totally different.

That's totally different.

So you had him arrested. Good job.

I don't remember doing it,

I don't remember why,

I just remember being pissed.

And I'm... That's terrifying.

So me and him didn't speak at all,

but he gets in contact via a friend.

So he was just, like, "Um, can I talk to you?"

So, unfortunately,

I open up the doorway of communication

which I shouldn't because I'd probably be

at a much different place right now.

What would happen

if he was cheating on you?

I'd probably k*ll him.

No, he'd k*ll you.

That's, that's why I'm, like,

I cannot risk everything and be wrong.

I can't.

Like, I dont want to try to convince my family, my friends

that it's okay now because I'm not even % sure.

I always compared him to a volcano.

It may never erupt, but it could.

The biggest

misconception that all of us had

is that we were going to be able to help her.

JANELLE: I don't want to see her have to live her life

always constantly, you know, thinking about food

and her body image because she's such a sweet person.

[door opening]

She lived on her own.

She could have been a lot thinner, yes,

but I'm sorry, I don't buy that whatsoever.

By her telling us that she was getting better,

then make us go

"Okay, let's let her alone and she's going to get better."

This is a lie and a fallacy that she's telling herself.

We have completely dropped the ball

on dealing with

any potential eating disorders and her addiction to her pills.

PAULA: I feel they don't have the right to judge me

because they don't know the whole story.

I don't want to be the victim 'cause I'm trying to, like,

work it out, it's just hard.

ZACH: Like, I'm sitting here because

it's just so weird to me, like, okay, you got a problem.

You're skinny. So eat, dude.

You know what I mean?

Yeah. You can't tell somebody that.

That's what I'm saying.

Imagine this.

Do you think there's, like, some traumatic experience...?

The sheer truth of it,

the way that she told me, it's extremely deep.

I'm just saying, like, if you really want to help her,

you should get to know her; you really should,

'cause then you'd really understand

what she's going through.

Now, if you're going to talk to other people

and you're not going to talk to me...

I'm not talking to other people. I just talked to Svetlana.

She's the only one.

She hasn't talked to anybody else.

That's so awful.

You're going to go away for four months,

you're going to get these ideas in your head

and then you're going to come back and be, like,

"You know what? It's not going to work."

And that sucks.

Well, Fitz mentioned in the fact my entire worry this whole time

probably for the rest of my life would be, like,

"Well, what if he did it again?"

She goes, "What if he had two more drinks?

"What if he did this?

"What if he just got that much more angry?

"What if he has a drink one night

"and thinks you're cheating on him?

What if?"

And I had no [bleep] answer for her.

Nobody has an answer for...

I don't even have an answer for [bleep].

That's a [bleep] risk!

Yeah, it is a risk, babe. That's life.

A risk some people never have to deal with.

Why do I have to?

Because I [bleep] up!

I love him, but I hate myself for loving him.

I can't let go of what he did, and it makes me pissed.

I'm just

permanently, like, messed up and it's never going to go away.

I guess once and for all you kinda have

to decide what it is that you want to do.

Like, do you honestly think that I could be

what you need in your life?

What if I feel I don't know?

JOHN: We're going out to paint the town red tonight,

and I've been looking forward

to cutting loose for a couple of days now.

PAULA: I want there to be, like

okay, if Paula's obviously

bad in dealing with stuff,

that's why I fake being okay, because

that's the person everybody likes to be around.

I am Kahulani.

I want you to come dance with me.

PAULA: Kahulani is a five-foot-nothing

little Hawaiian girl.

She just comes up to me and starts dancing with me.

Oh, my God!

She's like a little pixie that runs around.

By the way...

I think... she's a l*sbian?

For you and me.

Ohh!

I feel comfortable with girls in bars 'cause they're nice.

They don't want anything from me.

This is my friend Zach.I'm Zach.

What's your name?

Come with us, though.

I'll go with you.

Please come with us.

Are you ready?

[howling]

[howling]

JOHN: Elena is a very attractive girl.

She has a slammin' body.

and she's looking to party, so

I invite her back to our house.

Ladies, outside, outside, outside.

ELENA: I'm a good girl.

I'm amazed.

I'm the greatest blabbermouth.

Right, because

I'm only here for one night,

so you're really a great guy-- for one night.

How do you know, how do you know

I'm not serving my grits until I'm ready?

Oh, you're such a liar.

Where did you guys go?

JANELLE: Fat Tuesday.

Of course they'd find [bleep]

like that at Fat Tuesday's.

Go, John.

TYLER: Go, John, go.

Bust a nut, man.

PAULA: You done with the phone?

Am I done with the phone?

Not if you're calling Keith I'm not.

I can use a phone.

I'm just using the phone.

The thing that makes me kind of bitter

when I know that I have to call Keith--

It feels as if I'm missing out on a lot

of the fun things that are happening in the house

You're giving this guy so much credit.

I'm not talking about it with anybody.

I understand.

No, nobody understands.

That's why I'm not gonna talk about it.

I've seen it in a black eye

or any type of relationship problems.
