[grandiose music]

- Next basket wins the semifinals

of my Splish Spashketball Tournament.

[upbeat music]

- Fishy pass!

- Wha-cha!

- Game time.

[whistle blows]

- Splish-splash. Baby's team wins.

[cheers and applause]

They're headed to the finals,

where the winner will receive

the Splish Splashketball Trophy!

[triumphant music]

- Hoppin' halibut.

We're so close to becoming splashketball chompions.

- Not just chompions, but legends.

That trophy's been held by some

of the ocean's greatest ballers:

Stingray Allen, Flowbe Bryant, Pete Marafish,

and Mayor Anchovy.

- [laughs] Yup.

This mayor's got game.

- William Manta, splashketball legend.

Yeah, that works for me.

- For tomorrow's chompionship game,

Baby's team will face off against Shadow's team.

- [cackles]

- [growls] Shadow.

Why am I not surprised?

- But where's the rest of your team?

- Bait and Switch are going to Planty's first dance recital,

so they won't be able to play.

But no biggie.

I got new teammates who are totally gill-actic.

[dramatic music]

♪ ♪

- All-Starfishies in the house.

[upbeat rock music]

- [grunting]

[laughs]

- Yeah!

[all gasp]

- Whoa, they're, uh...

they're-- - Jawsome, I know.

And for a chompionship this epic,

we can't play in regular old Carnivore Cove.

- We can't? - Nope.

Why not play on a legendary court

in, oh, let's say hydrospace.

- Splashketball? In hydrospace?

Genius.

[daunting music]

- Better bring your A game tomorrow, fishies.

You're gonna need it.

[all gulp]

[chomping]

[light music]

- So Shadow's team is pretty good, huh?

- They're more than pretty good.

They're chum-believable.

- So what if they're jawsome ballers?

We're the best fishy friends team!

We got this.

[grunts]

[dolphins chatter] [sighs]

Can't make 'em all, right?

[laughs] - Yep.

I'm confident...

that I'm feeling less confident.

[impressive music]

♪ ♪

- Welcome to the Splish Splashketball Finals,

where Baby's adorably sweet team

will play Shadow's scary good team.

- [laughs] - Emphasis on the scary.

Today's game will be called by splashketball legends,

Art McSeal and Timothy Toothwell!

- Thanks, Mayor Anchovy.

It's jawsome to be here in hydrospace.

- Sure is.

These nautical nachos are outta this world.

Mmm. - That--that was my jacket.

Anyhoo, the winner of this game

will take home the chompionship.

- Yanno, Tim, I won a chompionship myself.

- [sighs] Here we go again.

- Come on, Tim.

You almost won the chompionship.

[snickers]

- Sour grapes, huh?

And you almost kept these nachos.

[chomping]

- Not cool, Tim.

You know I like my nachos.

[air horn blares]

- [laughs nervously] Good... luck?

- Ugh.

[whistle blows]

[grunts] - [grunts]

[upbeat music]

Catch ya later, fishy.

Ha. [chuckles]

- [barks]

Just like that, Shadow's team scores.

- Shake it off, fishies!

They may be big and strong and scary...

[record scratch] Where was I going with this?

- But we just need to believe in ourselves?

- Right! Uh, I think.

[all grunt] - We're the best!

[all sigh]

♪ ♪

- [grunts]

- Huh. - Aah!

- Bye-bye, Baby.

- [grunts]

- sh**t it, William!

- [gulps] Fishy scared!

Ooh.

- Shoots, he scores...

for the wrong team.

♪ ♪

- Let's see your moves, tentacles.

- Uh, come on. I got this.

[panting]

Whoa! Whoa!

Oh, I got me.

- I guess sometimes the best defense is yourself.

- [cackles]

[grunts] Yeah!

- Baby, pass it to me!

- Aah! - Triple team, engage!

- [gulps] Baby Bash?

- Incoming. - Watch the tail fins.

[whistle blows]

- It's halftime, and I gotta say,

it looks like Baby's team is in the clam cooler.

The lid is shut, the light is out,

and the shellatin is wigglin'.

[all sigh]

- This is humiliating.

On a galactic scale.

- Ah, fin up, William.

Who knows, maybe Shadow's team used up all their energy

in the first half.

- [laughs] - [grunts]

- Uh, well, we're sunk.

- Aw, guess we're not gonna be splashketball legends

after all.

- What's up, little fishies?

[all gasp]

- Art McSeal, Timothy Toothwell,

talking to us?

- Yeah, we just wanted to check in on you.

It's a tough one out there.

- I'll say.

Shadow's team is just so good,

and we're just so... us.

- Exactly.

Shadow's team isn't the problem.

Problem is, y'all are doubting your abilities.

- Like the little seal said,

you fishies flow well together.

You just need to believe in yourselves.

- But we're down by so much.

It'll be fin-possible to win now.

- Don't worry about the score or the other team

or if you ever won a chompionship.

Just focus on playing like the best fishy friends

you've always been.

- Whoa.

I just got the chills.

- Art and Timothy are right.

If we wanna win this game,

we need to believe in ourselves.

all: Go fishy friends!

[upbeat music]

- That splashketball trophy is as good as mine.

- Comin' in hot, William!

- Fishy pass!

- Huh?

- [growls]

- Game time!

- Vola shoots...

and she scores!

[all cheer]

- Splish-splash, we got a game on our fins.

- Whoo-hoo!

- Nice shot, Vola!

- Puh-leeze.

One lucky shot doesn't mean anything.

- Come on, fishies.

Let's do this.

- ♪ It's going down ♪

♪ Under the sea, yeah, we're in it to win it ♪

♪ To be the number one team ♪

♪ Make the net splash when we drain it from three ♪

♪ Yes, we float like a fishy, but we sting like jellies ♪

all: ♪ We're swimming for that number one spot ♪

♪ Splish-splash and jam ♪

♪ We're swimming headed straight to the top ♪

♪ Then a no-look pass ♪

[all cheer, laugh]

- Hoowee!

Baby's team has tied the game.

Whoever scores the next point wins the chompionship.

- I mentioned I have one of those, right?

- Not the time, Art.

- [grunts]

- [groans]

[pants]

- I'll take that.

- Ha-cha!

- [stammers]

- Gimme!

- Uh, no, thank you.

[tense music]

- [laughs] Face it, Baby.

You can't win.

- [inhales deeply]

We got this.

[yells]

- [grunts]

[both groan]

- Huh!

♪ ♪

Ah! [grunts]

[rumbling]

[buzzer blares]

[cheers and applause]

- It's a swamdunk! [laughter]

Baby's team wins!

Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- At least we played a good game.

- Yeah. [growls] - Good game?

Ew. I wanted that trophy.

[pouts]

- It's my honor to award

the Splish Splashketball Trophy to Baby, William, and Vola.

[cheers and applause] [laughter]

- We really are the best fishy friends team ever!

[both laugh] - Yeah, we are!

- Group hug!

- Aww. - Mm.

- What a jawsome ending to a jawsome game.

This is Art McSeal

and the chompionshipless Timothy Toothwell

chompin' off. - Art, that was my line.

- You never won a chompionship, Tooth.

You know that. But you take my nachos,

I take your line.

[barks] - If it wasn't for the coral,

I would've won that game.

- Always excuses. [chomp]

[bright music]

- Look, fishies.

I taught the Slobber Slug how to play fetch.

Okay, I'm goin' long.

[groans]

[laughter]

- That's one way to play fetch.

- [laughs] Yeah, we do things our own way.

- Say, any of you squiddos up for a juice break?

- Yeah! - Yes, please!

[both slurping]

- Ah, that's the stuff.

- And if you need anything else,

I'll be out front checking on my sunfish flowers.

Oh, my gills!

[all gasp]

- Grandma, what happened?

- Somefishy dug up my flower bushes

and covered them in slobber!

- [gasps] Slobber?

- My mailbox was slobbered too.

[dramatic music]

- You think that's bad?

Look what happened to my money-counting mittens.

They were priceless.

- Who could have done this?

- Oh, I think we all know who's to blame.

That slobbery beast!

- [whines]

- [gasps] Is it true, Slobby?

Did you do all of this?

- No.

- Hear that?

Slobby says he's finnocent.

- A likely story.

I'll have this mangy menace thrown out of town.

- Slow your swim, Bentley.

My garden was slobberized just like your mittens,

but everyfishy is finnocent until proven guilty.

- Oh, he's guilty all right.

You'll see! You'll all see!

[both sigh]

- We can't let Bentley kick out Slobby.

We need to find the fishy that really did this

so we can prove he's finnocent.

- This looks like a job for Detective Baby Shark!

- And William Watson.

- And I can help too.

- Great idea.

We could teach you how to solve mysteries

just like us.

First step:

let's find some clues.

Watch and learn, Hank.

Watch and learn.

What have we got?

- Slobber, extra slobbery.

- Definitely a clue.

What about you, Hank?

See anything else?

Uh, Hank?

- Just a minute.

I'm cleaning Slobby's teeth.

- Uh, Hank?

We're supposed to be looking for clues.

- Hmm, maybe there's a clue

in Slobby's mouth.

A-brusha-brusha-brusha.

- I don't think Hank's getting it.

- Maybe we should move on.

[mysterious music]

♪ ♪

Okay, Hank. Next, we'll show you how

to question a witness.

Observe.

Bentley, when did you first realize

your mittens had been slobberized?

- Well, I came into my money room

for my daily money count,

and I found these horrid slug prints.

- Hmm.

- Very sluggy.

- They led right to my poor mangled mittens.

[dramatic musical sting]

Thank fishness I had my briefcase with me

or he would have slobberized that too.

- I have a question.

- You got this, Hank.

[tense music]

- How do you get your mustache to look so fancy?

- Uh, Hank?

I don't think that kind of question

will help our investigation.

- I'll allow it.

- Well, of course I only use the fanciest mustache grease

for my signature 'stache.

- Finteresting.

- But what does that have to do with my mittens?

- Hmm, nothing.

- [laughs nervously]

I think that's all the questions we've got.

We'll be going now.

- Okay, Hank.

It's time to go over all the clues

and crack the case.

- Clue one: we found slobber at each of the crime scenes.

- Clue two: there was a trail of slug prints

at Bentley's house.

- And look at this clue.

I can move just like the Slobber Slug.

[growls]

[both growl playfully]

- Uh, right.

Well, after looking over all the evidence,

I see only one possible suspect.

- Me too.

both: The Slobber Slug.

- [whines]

- What?

How can you even suggest

that Slobby is guilty?

- Sorry, Hank,

but William and I have solved lots of mysteries.

All the clues point to Slobby.

- But you're wrong.

Slobby's totally finnocent.

[important music]

- This just in.

The Slobber Slug is totally guilty.

He was caught on camera at Swimmy Hall earlier today

swallowing the key to the city!

- [gasps] - Oh, no!

- Finpossible!

- [whines]

- Something fishy's going on here.

We need to get to Swimmy Hall.

[microphone feedback]

- Splish-splash, we've lost our precious key.

- I tried to warn you.

That slimy slug is on a rampage.

- No, he's not!

- Gah! It's him, the slobberizer!

- But he's finnocent.

Tell them, Slobby.

Tell them the truth.

- [barks]

[serious music]

♪ ♪

- What? - Huh?

- I don't get it. - What did he say?

- Don't listen to this vile invertebrate.

I was slobberized today,

but tomorrow it could be you,

or you, or even you!

♪ By Beluga we should send away the Slobber Slug ♪

♪ Send away the Slobber Slug ♪

♪ Slobber on the garden may not seems like such a problem ♪

♪ But slobber from this monster is nefarious ♪

♪ This is serious ♪

♪ So send away the Slobber Slug ♪

- [vocalizing]

- ♪ Send away the Slobber Slug ♪

♪ Slobber on your favorite toy ♪

♪ Your new hairdo, your scooter too ♪

♪ Slobberized ♪ - ♪ Slobberized ♪

- ♪ Your husbands and wives, your squiddos ♪

♪ Do I kid? No ♪

♪ Your sisters, your brothers ♪

♪ Your great-great poor elderly grandmothers ♪

♪ It's getting worse, it's true ♪

♪ So what should we do? ♪

♪ I asked, "What should we do?" ♪

- ♪ Send away the Slobber Slug ♪

- ♪ Send away the Slobber Slug ♪

- ♪ Send away the Slobber Slug ♪

- ♪ Send away the Slobber Slug ♪

♪ 'Cause we can't have him slobberize our homes ♪

♪ And our entire lives, so we gotta do something ♪

♪ About Slobby ♪ - ♪ Slobby ♪

- ♪ Who's with me? Today ♪

[crowd murmuring]

- Splish-splash, that song was catchy

and convincing.

I guess we gotta ban the Slobber Slug

from Carnivore Cove forever.

- Yeah! - Hey! This isn't right.

Slobby's finnocent, and I can prove it.

- But Hank, you didn't find any clues.

- Yes, I did.

I just found them my own way.

Fishies of Carnivore Cove,

this is the slobber from Grandma's garden.

- You see, that proves he did it.

Case closed.

- [sniffs]

But it doesn't smell like Slobby's slobber at all,

and I should know.

I brushed his teeth.

[crowd mumbling interestedly]

- [sniffs] Hank's right.

This slobber smells nothing like the Slobber Slug.

- Interesting. - What does it mean?

- But we saw the Slobber Slug

swallow the key on TV.

- Maybe it looked that way, but the slug

in that video doesn't move like a slug at all.

Slobby moves like this.

- [barks] [both growl playfully]

- But the slug in the video moves like a fishy.

- [chomp] - My gills.

- He's right.

- [laughs] He's just stalling for time.

Let's banish this beast already.

- Hold on.

I have one more clue.

This slobber isn't slobber at all.

- My mustache!

It's so fancy.

- And there's only one fishy

who uses mustache grease that fancy.

Bentley!

[all gasp]

all: The key!

- This proves nothing.

That slug could have put that there.

- Then how do you explain this?

[costume squeaks]

[all gasp]

- Okay, fine. It's true.

I wore a Slobber Slug costume

and framed that monster.

There. Happy?

- But why?

- Because last week

that slippery slug licked my favorite beret.

- [groans]

- He says he licked Bentley

because he was just being friendly.

He's sorry.

He won't do it again.

- Mm.

- Well, splish-splash.

It is my great honor to announce

the Slobber Slug is finnocent!

[all cheer]

- Whoa! - [laughs]

You're very welcome, Slobby.

- Hank, we're sorry we doubted your mystery-solving methods.

- Yeah, we shouldn't have assumed

that our way to find clues was the only way.

- That's okay.

I'm just glad Slobby's a free slug again.

- Me too.

But what about all the messes Bentley caused?

- Oh, I have an idea.

[cheerful music]

- Ah, the toil! The labor!

My fancy fins weren't meant for this!

- Deal with it.

- What he said.

[both laugh]
