add up into a sort
of undeniable big thing.

I was kind of freaked out,
and at the same time,
I was excited.

What exactly...

...is tormenting
this man in South Carolina?

Oh, my God.

I've never met somebody
who's lived through

any kind of negative haunting
that felt at peace.

And even more
paranormal footage
you have to see

to believe.

What is that?

There is
a phenomenon called
a crisis apparition

during which a person
is visited by the spirit
of a loved one

shortly after the time
of that person's death.

And while the interaction
is typically fleeting,

the living person is left
with an absolute certainty

that what they
experienced is real.

If that sounds
too good to be true,

ask one resident
of Oklahoma City

who may have
not only encountered
one of these entities,

but caught it
on camera.

are watching security footage
from outside Renee's home,

as Terry points out
a startling event

that was captured
early that morning.

as a nearly transparent,
seemingly humanoid form

walks across the screen.

You can see
through it all the way.

I'm Renee Lynch,
and this is my video.

I was kind of freaked out,
and at the same time,
I was excited.

It's kind of like
a hologram.

It's a person, you can see
the arms and his legs moving

as he's walking,
but you just can see
right through him.

I mean, you can't see
his face or anything,

but you can tell
definitely that it's a person.

Out of nowhere,
plain as day, obvious,

if it's not a ghost,
it's a time traveler,

or something,
I don't know.

Here we go. There he is.
Oh, he'll come out
of nowhere, watch.

This video is a pretty
classic example

of an apparition
showing up on camera.

A person appears
inexplicably,

sort of never feels
entirely human
the entire time

that they're
on camera.

It was
a transparent person.

You could see the clothes,

you could see the outline
of the head, the body.

He was walking,
but he was transparent.

Here we go.
There he is.

It seemed to glide.

It's walking, but it moved
at a much quicker pace

than I would think
a human would be moving,
unless they were running,

but you didn't see
much movement

with the arms
or anything like that.

Despite the
mystifying appearance,

Renee thinks she knows
who it might be.

I believe it was that night.

A motorcycle accident.

And he had just
been to our house,
like, two days before that.

He died at about
1:30 in the morning.

I really believe
that's what happened.

There does seem
to be this occurrence
that can happen where

we have so many
eyewitnesses that talk about

losing a loved one,
and then shortly after,

or even the same day or night,
having an experience
with them.

When it comes
to people dying

and their spirits
moving on,

it's very common for them
to do visitations

shortly after
they've passed.

Now when this happens,

this is them
sort of wrapping up

their business
on this plane

before they move
to the next,

and giving the people
that they're leaving behind

some closure.

A comforting
thought to some,

but Renee
is shaken up.

It was amazing
actually to see,

but I don't know
if I'd wanna see something
like that again.

Kinda am scared of that stuff,
you know?

I don't really

wanna open myself up
to that kinda stuff.

It was like one
of those things that is like,

you wanna look,

but you don't wanna look,
but you can't help but look.

I think that
for a lot of people,

the idea of a spirit world
can be really scary,

even if it's something
that could potentially be

as harmless as your
friend visiting you.

It just breaks
your sense of reality

in a lot of ways
that people aren't...

Aren't ready for.

Scary or not,

the experience served
as a confirmation for Renee.

There is another side

to our existence
in this world.

I know what I've seen.
It was not

anything like
I've ever seen.

It was not a me or you
just walking down the street.

We don't just appear
out of nowhere.

So, I mean, yeah,
it was most definitely,

like, a total mythbuster
confirmed.

a restaurant owner
in Connecticut

grapples with
a spectral chef.

Most of the time,

if you're wondering why
a location is thought
to be haunted,

a good bet would be
to look at its history.

Whether it's ancient legends,

gruesome crimes,

or a tragic accident...

a location's past

typically offers
some explanation

for paranormal phenomena.

But every now and then,

there are those locations,

like say...

...a friendly
small town restaurant

that have no
clear reason
to be haunted,

yet somehow
find themselves
to be hotspots...

for ghostly goings-on.

One particular restaurant
owner can vouch for that.

2016, in Berlin,
Connecticut,

Sarah Tigrett has just
purchased a restaurant

and is working
round the clock

to keep things
running smoothly.

But after an eerie experience
late one night,

where she believes she may
have seen an apparition,

Sarah installs
security cameras.

And that's when
she and her staff

confirm that something...

...other-worldly

...is going on.

I'm Sarah Tigrett,
and these are my videos.

We would have
things where, like,

bowls would
fly off the shelves.

And our customer
would be like,

"I saw this cup just fly."

It got so bad
to the point

where we had to get drawers
and put the cups
in the drawers

because I was tired
of buying cups

'cause I'm cheap.

And it's not
just random objects,

during one shift,

Sarah's apron
is tugged from below.

This is one of those
hauntings where

a lot of little things
add up into a sort of
undeniable big thing.

Tongs falling off the shelf,

lids moving,

bins of food moving.

After a while,

you sort of start to say,
"Okay, this is maybe not

just a series of unrelated
coincidental events."

On another day,

the chain to a door
in the kitchen

is somehow pulled
off the door's handle.

Even though it was
held on by a padlock.

Every night,
we have to chain it shut,

put the chain and a padlock,

and we would take the padlock
and leave the key inside.

So it was crazy
to me at first
to see, like,

the chain was able
to unlock itself completely.

They all seem to have
purpose and force behind it.

Over and over,
it seems as if

it's always something that
somebody was just using,

or working at a station,

kinda turning away from it...

...and then
it would happen.

So it's definitely, to me,
something intelligent

reminding them,
"Hey, I'm here,

and I'm having
a little bit of fun with you."

A little bit of fun

which turns a little
bit more terrifying

when someone catches
a mysterious shadowy form

on camera
in the dining room.

It would just
look like a black,
totally opaque shadow

just standing there.

You won't even notice it.
Like, it'll walk by

and sometimes you'll think
it's like a person

in your peripheral
and then you stop.

And then you turn around,
it'll be gone.

In my professional opinion,

that seemed to be
a shadow figure,

but in my Dalen opinion,

it looked like an alien.

Either way, it was
paranormal, abnormal,

its a*s shouldn't
have been there.

But that doesn't
mean Sarah and her staff

have to be afraid.

The thing about the spirit
world is that it's not all

demons and scary stuff.

Like, there are,
just like with people,

there are spirits who
are friendly and wanna help,

and in range,
there's a spectrum.

Nothing really positive
comes from fear.

Spirits will take that energy

to help manifest.

If all the other
workers are scared,

those spirits are
not gonna leave

because it's almost
like a buffet for them

to come and grab that energy
and manifest themselves.

Which is
part of the reason

why Sarah tries
to maintain a level head.

I was never scared.

The whole kitchen staff,
they love it.

We called him ghost kun

because it was
a Japanese restaurant

and kun's like a friendly way
of addressing, like, a man.

Ghost kun or not,

she did try to seek out
an explanation for the haunt

up until she sold the
restaurant three years later.

One of the things that
the fire marshal told me

was about a mile
down the road,

there was a train
accident in the '60s.

We're on a busy road
with a lot of car accidents.

I mean, it could
be anything.

I don't think haunted
locations necessarily

have to be connected
to a historic event.

You have people coming
in and out all the time.

They're bringing their own
energy with them and maybe

bringing their
own hauntings.

Just because you
come to a restaurant

to get takeout,
you might be making

a spectral delivery.

Whatever was
happening in the restaurant,

Sarah is completely
comfortable with the unknown.

A lot of people die.

So, like, who knows
how many people died

on this spot
before we got there?

So, like,
I don't think we could
ever really know the reason.

a police officer
in Tennessee

captures a shadow figure
on his home security cam.

Many believe
that the ability to perceive
the spiritual realm

is a spectrum...

Please stand
away from the closing doors,
please...

...where some folks
live their day-to-day

completely unaware of these
other-worldly energies,

while others seem
to possess an innate ability

to sense
supernatural phenomena...

whether they want to or not.

One man in Tennessee is coming
to grips with the fact

that he's in the latter group.

And has become
a virtual magnet

for paranormal activity.

May, 2021,
in Jackson, Tennessee,

police officer,
Gage Mansfield,

is up late one night

when his home
security camera

alerts him to motion
in the kitchen.

So he plays back the video
and sees this.

An odd shadow
passing across the wall

in his kitchen.

But no body casting it.

And this is my video.

We see this shadow
moving down along the wall

and you can see that
it seems small in stature,

doesn't have
a full, defined form,

but there is clearly
something there.

And it even becomes
more apparent when
he shows up into that room

and you see his shadow
of what that looks like

projected on that same wall,
much larger and much
more defined,

and you can see
whatever that shadow person
thing was prior to him

is definitely smaller
in stature and size.

After he rules out the
possibility of an intruder,

Gage is fairly certain
what he's dealing with.

There is no
one type of shadow figure.

They can appear
as humanoids, animals,

mists, and there are
a lot of different theories

as to what they are.

Probably the most common,
well-known theory

is that they are
a species of their own.

A few months later,

while Gage
and his wife are out,

he captures more
strange activity

on the security camera
aimed at his bedroom door.

First,

an unseen force

pushes a stack
of papers to the floor.

Then the hallway
lights begin to flicker.

And finally...

Did you catch that?

Watch again

as another dark shadow figure
emerges in the hallway.

We see what
appears to be a

human-like figure
lean in from right to left

and look in towards
the bedroom.

When we add to that

that there's this
not consistent,

not rhythmic, but constant
light flickering

several doorways away,

I mean, this is the stuff
of horror movies.

But Gage
remains unfazed.

There is this thought
in the paranormal field

that shadow figures
aren't necessarily spirits,

that they are more
interdimensional beings.

And that they are attracted
to places where tragedy
has occurred,

or where tragedy
will occur.

They seem to be
more watchers, observers,

possibly be looking for food,
as far as negativity goes.

What we have to take
into consideration here

is that Gage is
a police officer.

If he has seen a lot
of negativity in his life
because of his job,

then he might be
really good food

for these shadow figures.

Something that
Gage is all too aware of.

In fact, in his line of work
as a first responder,

Gage has found himself
exposed to a lot of situations

that trigger a kind
of supernatural ability.

A quality
that some would categorize

as clairvoyant.

To be clairvoyant
means that there is some

atypical level of openness
or receptiveness

to the perception of things
that other people can't sense.

So it might be
spirit mediumship.

It might also simply
be seeing things that
other people don't see.

So noticing
a shadow figure,

noticing an apparition,
being tuned in

on a level that
other people aren't.

That must be such a stressful
thing to live with every day,

especially if you're
going to work

and encountering homicides
and deaths and accidents.

And then
if you're clairvoyant,

to be like a beacon
for these recently,

you know,
departed spirits.

But over time,

Gage has become more
and more comfortable

with the fact that spirits
seem to be drawn to him

and they're now
even apparently

making themselves
at home in his home.

For most of us
just one run in

with a violent entity
in our home...

to send us packing for good.

But moving
isn't always feasible.

And banishing
an unwanted spirit...

There's somebody
ringing the doorbell.

...leaving some people
with an impossible choice.

Take it from one man
in South Carolina...

...who has been forced
to coexist with his own
personal poltergeist...

Is anybody there?

...for years.

And it's persistent
presence...

...is showing no signs
of letting up.

Last season
we met Michael,
a man in South Carolina.

Shh,
turn it down, turn it down.

...who was having issues
with a noisy, persistent
presence in his home...

What the is that?

I don't know.

...that like to make a mess.

Oh, my God!

When we left him,

he hoped the activity
would dissipate.

Holy!

But now,
evidence by captures
in the latter half of 2021,

any chance of peace
that Michael was hoping for
has proven...

...illusive.

Because the chaotic,
inexplicable activity...

...continues unabated.

In the paranormal,
we're used to spirit rappings.

Tappings,
light little knockings,

something faint
or even imperceptible.

What's happening here
is quite the opposite.

Banging, just banging.

Hey, look!

This reads to me
as not only chaotic
but aggressively chaotic.

It does not feel like
an attempt to communicate.

Oh, my God.

I couldn't live like that, I--

I would have to
exhaust all possibilities
of cleansing my space.

Maybe I'd keep
the lights on all day.

Maybe I have
to activate the buddy-system
in my own home.

My mental would be
so messed up,

I'd probably
be going through it.

And whatever it is...

...seems to be
getting stronger.

It throws your life
into chaos...

...because what's supposed
to be your sanctuary
from a really harsh world...

becomes chaotic,
and becomes scary,
and becomes unknown.

And I've never met
somebody who's lived through
any kind of negative haunting

that felt at peace.

I don't think like burning
sage or anything like that

is going to
actually get rid of this...

whatever it is is happening.

So... If not sage...

Then what?

My advice is to get in contact
with some really good,

reputable paranormal
investigators...

Give them all the information,
look for patterns,

when does this happen?
How often? Why?

Is there any
explanation historically,

the house,
the land preceding the home.

Bring in a reputable medium,
do a cleansing.

And if that doesn't work...

...pack up
and get out of there.

Not a bad idea.

But what if the dark energy...

...is coming from him?

There is this belief that,
uh, we have
the psychokinetic ability

to affect objects...

...with our anxiety
or anger or uneasiness.

We have this ability
to actually alter and affect
objects with our minds

by getting into the state
of amplified fear or anger.

The knocking...

...items explosively coming
off of countertops.

Things like hitting,
you know, the pendulum,
you know,

light fixture in their home.

All of that could be someone's
anxiety energy

bouncing off the physical
objects within their space
that they live in.

Oh, my God!

If that's the case...

then it might be time
to bring in the big g*ns.

Seek out
religious authorities.

Have an exorcism,
have a blessing.

Whatever belief tradition
resonates best with the people
who live there, go with that.

Clearly, he's going
to have to do something.

Or else...

Oh, my God.

it's truly remarkable

when someone who is tuned in
to celestial affairs...

sees something...
they can't explain.

Like a drone enthusiast
in Alabama...

who captured what he believes
to be not just one,

but over a dozen UFOS.

What is that?

April 23rd, 2022,
in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

A man named J.D.
and his daughter are
standing in their driveway

shortly after bidding farewell
to J.D.'s mother...

when they notice something
peculiar in the distance.

My name is J.D.
And this is my video.

I had no clue what it was
to be honest.

I just turned to my right
and looked up
and there are these...

light swirls just flying.

And at first I was like, okay,
well, maybe that's some kind
of helicopter or something.

And then, I see another one.

And then it kind of
dawned on me. It was like...

There's no sound
coming from these lights.

I don't know what that is.
I mean, there's been
a bunch of 'em...

that's been poppin' up
from that spot.

There go another one
coming up.

They just keep comin'.

What?

I mean, this, this is probably
like the 10th one.

When I first saw this video,

I thought it was perhaps
nothing more than
common sky lanterns.

But the thing
that doesn't equate

is the pace at which
these lights are moving.

For a sky lantern to move
across the sky that quickly,

there would have to be
a tremendous wind.

And we see no evidence
of wind at all here.

Disappeared,
there another one is.

They do look like they're
travelling with purpose,

they're not randomly
kind of zig-zagging around.

They're travelling
in a direction that seems
to be in intelligent control.

They just keep comin'.

As an aviation enthusiast,

J.D. quickly rules out
the ordinary.

There's no airport over there.
There's no military...base...

...that's over there.

I was trying to figure out
what is moving at this speed.

I knew it wasn't
any kind of motor aviation
that was flying.

Because motor aviation
don't simply move
at that speed.

They would carry
some kind of sound,
you know.

I've flown several times
myself on regular,
commercial airlines,

and I knew it
wasn't none of those.

They didn't have kind
of FAA lights,
no red lights, or...

green lights flashing,
nothing, none of that at all.

What is that?

I checked the tracking data
for airplanes in the area,

there was nothing in
the airspace that was less
than 35,000 feet high.

So it's nothing that I believe
was commercial
or general aviation.

So if they're
not sky lanterns,

they're not drones,
they're not aircraft,
they're not satellites,

these objects are truly
unknown to this point.

All those
possibilities eliminated,
only a select few remain.

In my mind, you know,
when I see
something like this,

I would automatically think,

the aliens have landed.

It looks like they are spaced
exactly the same apart.

They are travelling
at the same speed.

They definitely seem to have
some kind of communication
with each other.

Are they gone now?

We got that one,
that one, that one.

Whether
it was extraterrestrial,

or some type of military
secret or something,

I do not know.
But this was something
that was legit...

...flying aircraft.
It had to be.

It absolutely had to be.

Let's say that
these were potentially
something from another galaxy,

what are they?

Are they actual crafts,
are they actual UFOs,
was something piloting them?

Or could they perhaps
be something that's maybe
scanning the area,

looking for something.

J.D. has the same question.

If it's extraterrestrial,
maybe it was spying
on some people or something,

I don't know.

But before
he can get any answers,
the crafts begin to disappear.

And this one now...

it disappeared.

Though the sighting's
abrupt ending

hasn't dampened his enthusiasm
for the experience.

You hear people talking
about this type of stuff
all the time.

And to be able to actually
see it for the first time,

and, and really
witness it yourself,
is, is completely different.

Now, he's on
the lookout for more.

I find myself now
constantly searching
the skies,

just trying to see
if I can see anything
similar to it at all.

Because that was
a very unique experience,
and I...

I would be curious
if there's more of that
going on around here.

It was amazing
just to see it.

Even though
I don't know what it is,

but it was just...
That was absolutely amazing
just to be witness to that.

What is that?

A woman in the Netherlands...

is tormented by a spirit.

you can try to get rid
of an unwanted ghost.

Get your house cleansed.

Bring in a medium
to communicate with the dead.

Or if all else fails,
move out.

But be warned...

None of these
are guaranteed to work.

Because even if you chose
to relocate...

whatever's haunting

may decide to move with you.

Which is precisely what
one woman in the Netherlands

comes face-to-face with.

Zwolle, Netherlands.

When we last met Sabia El,

she had been living
in a haunted apartment
for several years.

During that time
she experienced a lot
of paranormal activity...

...like objects
moving on their own...

...doors being manipulated
by an unseen force.

And even shadow figures.

Finally, when Sabia
can no longer take it,
she moves out.

And for several months
things are calm
in her new home.

Until one night
when Sabia is watching TV,

she notices a light flickering
in the hall.

So she grabs her phone
and starts recording.

When Sabia enters
the hallway,

she doesn't find anything
that would have caused
the light to go on and off.

But as Sabia walks
back toward her living room

and takes one more look
down the hallway...

She catches the shadow
of the chandelier
right in front of her,

so she spins around.

Now she's seeing
the chandelier
swaying back and forth.

It's kind of playing around
with her.

Hey, I can be in front of you,
I can be right behind you.
You don't know where I am.

Often times these signs
of the paranormal are
surprisingly mundane.

We turn lights on and off
all throughout the day,

we bump into things,
they swing, they move.

It's not that weird.
And yet when you're there,

and you know
you didn't cause those things
to happen,

even the most mundane
objects can become
absolutely terrifying.

Even more terrifying
is what happens next.

As Sabia turns
to the front hallway again...

...a dark figure
is standing there.

Oh!

And then...

...seems to run away.

If in fact
this is what you would term
a 'shadow figure',

it seems to do exactly what,
what we've known other shadow
figures in videos to do,

which is as soon as
they're seen by the living,
uh, they flee the scene.

In this case,
it seems to be running
up the stairs to get away.

Oh!

To me this is a classic
haunting taking place,
if you will.

It's clearly something
that is intelligent,

and it seems to be
a human-type spirit.

We can see that
with the shadowy figure.

It's one entity, one spirit
clearly communicating
with her,

doing all these things
to let her know
that it's there.

It's toying with her, perhaps
maybe even taunting her.

And perhaps
also letting her know

that ridding herself of
whatever it is...

won't be so easy.

There's this idea
in the supernatural
that is called attachments.

And what an attachment is,

is some sort of supernatural
force that either gets
attached to a person,

an object, a location.

In the cases
of people and objects,

that attachment
will be with them.

Meaning if it's a person,
you can move,
you can change your name,

get a new car,
whatever you wanna do,

that attachment will
follow you wherever you go.

Or maybe this person is just
sensitive to these energies.

And as such,
they will seek her out
to either deliver a message,

have their story told,
or maybe to work out something

that they can no longer
do themselves.

Whatever this spirit
is looking for,

it's freaking Sabia out.

Oh!

She stays over
friends' house that night.

But what can she do
for a long-term solution?

I would recommend to get
a really good medium there

to see if there's any kind of
way this medium could
make contact

with the spirit that
might be following her,

and ask this spirit to just
leave Sabia alone.

And Sabia
can do the same thing.

She can say, look, you know,
I understand you want
my attention for some reason,

but I'm not comfortable
with this and you have to
please promise me

you're not gonna
do this to me anymore.

My advice always is,
don't panic.

If she wants to stop
interacting with things,

maybe stop responding
when something happens...

Oh!

And I feel that after a while
if they don't get the response
they're looking for,

they will move onto someone
who will give it to them.

A lot of times these spirits
are in some sort of a limbo

where they are attached
to that property
or to that person.

So bring in someone to help,
whether they're a priest,
pastor or shaman

to cleanse and clear that area
and get on with your life.

And some people
can't seem to shake it,

and they learn to live
alongside of it,

but others have learnt to
just eradicate it completely.

Salvia is hoping to do
a cleanse in the near future.

But for now,
she's trying to remain calm...

...and just live with
whatever has taken a liking...

to living with her.

in the event you witness
something paranormal?

Here are some tips
to get it all on camera.

Check your footage
and then check it again.
