- [gasps] Yes!

It's such an honor coming from Mariella Moss,

the most renowned fashion designer ever.

- Oh, please!

Well, it is accurate, though. [chuckles]

Anyway, I'm envisioning a love letter

to Great Lakes City in spring.

Bright colors, bold prints,

hot dogs dragged through the garden.

Actually, that's my lunch order.

- [munching]

My fashion shows are a lot of work,

so you'll have to hire another intern

to help you with everything.

Mm. [chuckles] Mm!

[munching] - Oh, okay. Sure.

Actually, I know just the person.

- [squealing] I'm so excited!

- Working together's gonna be great, Leni.

Our day starts at : a.m.,

but Mariella gets here at :,

- [gasps] I better leave now.

- Bravo, you just hired your replacement.

- Uh, what are you talking about, Carl?:

- Leni's, like, the most stylish person we know.

She's gonna crush it.

- Uh, I'm a rock star at work,

- So this is it. We have the design room over there,

and over here we have the accessory wall.

- [gasps] O-M-Gosh.

I thought these only existed in my dreams.

- I'll give you a minute. [shimmering tone]

- [laughs]

Wow! [sighs]

Okay, I'm done.

- We have a ton to do, like picking up fabric

and mailing out the invites to the show.

- Ooh, even the envelopes are stylish.

- You'd better get going. It's non-stop around here,

so you'll have to be fast on your feet.

- Your fabric has that wow factor,

but the design's missing something.

- Whoa!

Ah, ah! [crashing]

- [gasps] - Leni, what's with the wheels?

- You said I needed to be fast on my feet.

- Mariella, this is Leni Loud,

our new intern.

- O-M-Gosh, it is such an honor to meet you.

Whoa! Ohh!

[crashing]

[groaning]

- Uh, I am so sorry. I can fix that.

- Wait. Leave it.

Footwear as a hat.

[laughs] Yes!

That's the playful spirit this collection needs!

I like your approach, Leni.

I think I'll go crash into all of my designs.

Ah! [crashing]

Genius! [laughs]

- Going with the big city theme,

I thought it might be fun to serve

Bruno's mini hot dogs.

- Oh, Carlota!

You know, pork-base products are my weakness.

[munches] Ooh! But they're also messy.

- I know what to do.

I read an article in " / Magazine"

called " / Life Hacks for Condiment Stains."

Hack number five said you can get ketchup stains out

with sparking water.

- Good thinking, Leni!

We'll keep the hot dogs,

but serve sparking water along with them.

[chuckles] So tell me those other / hacks.

- [munches]

[groans]

Obviously, we want a big finale for the show.

I'm thinking something super dramatic.

Picture it: the lights dim--

[elephant trumpeting]

Leni, what are you doing?

- You said we needed a big finale.

- An elephant on a runway!

- Okay, I had nothing to do with--

- It's perfect! It's never been done.

We'll be the talk of Fashion Week.

This is the kind of out-of-the-box thinking

we need here at Mariella Moss.

[elephant trumpets] Good work, Leni.

[laughs] [trumpeting]

[splat] - Huh? Ohh.

Darn it! - Ugh.

I'll see if " / Magazine" has any tips

on removing elephant oopsies.

- [grumbles]

I mean, roller skates and an elephant?

I can't believe Mariella is so into

all of Leni's wacky ideas.

- [munching]

- Cheer up. It's not too late.

You can still get rid of her.

- No way. I can't fire Leni.

She's my friend. - Who said fire?

Just send her on an errand-- a long errand.

When she's out of the way, you'll be back in charge.

- Okay, that is so evil, it's kinda brilliant.

But I could never do that to her.

Plus, I need her help. There's a ton of work to do.

- Who needs Leni when you've got the dream team right here?

- No thanks. I'll just have to step up my game

to really impress Mariella. [cell phone rings]

[gasps] Speaking of. Hi, Mariella!

- Carlota, you're a genius...

- Oh, well, I don't know about that.

- For bringing me Leni.

She really gets my quirky vision for this fashion show.

So I've decided to put her in charge of it.

- Oh, um, no, but--

- I knew you'd understand.

The show comes first.

I'll need you to assist her

with anything she needs.

Mm? Ciao!

[slams table]

- Tell me more about this long errand.

Leni! - [grunting]

Oh, hey, Carlota. - Okay, I'm not even gonna ask

why there's a bunk bed here. - Okay.

Then I won't tell you that we need

to squeeze in guests,

and you can fit way more people onto a bunk bed than a chair.

- Right. Anyway, now that you're in charge,

it is your job to pick up the accessories.

They are super valuable-- priceless, really--

from a very exclusive boutique.

- Ooh! - Yeah, I'd do it myself,

but only head interns are allowed.

- th Street?

Sounds kinda far.

- Then you better get going.

Buh-bye!

- Carlota! I need you

to tell me where Leni is.

I need to know whether the roller skate

goes on the left or right side of my head.

- Oh, uh, Leni had to jump out

on a fashion emergency that might take a while.

- Then it looks like you're back in charge,

with a lot to do, including getting me

another hot dog, stat!

As for the roller skate,

I'm just gonna have to take a fashion leap.

- [sighs] - [squawks]

Can I keep these?

Ow! - Ugh.

Okay, I have to finish ten looks in under an hour,

so just cut the fabric following the pattern.

I'll be back in a minute.

Hey, how's it goin' in-- ahh! Oh!

- Meet my wings of justice!

- Ugh!

Okay, just set out the food and refreshments

and make it look nice.

- You grab the drinks. I'll handle the food.

- [straining]

[bottles fizzing]

[gurgling]

- Ah! [gurgling]

Hey!

- Ah!

- [gurgling]

[groans]

For this runway rehearsal,

I picked out some nice, chill music

that I know Mariella will love.

All you have to do is press play.

Got it? - Relax.

I'm a professional DJ.

- Hmm.

- Ah, hit it!

- Drop the beat!

[chill electronic music playing]

♪ ♪

[squawks] Snooze fest!

DJ Sergio in the house [air horn blaring]

[frantic electronic music playing]

- Hey! I'm DJing!

[struggling efforts]

♪ ♪

[both exclaim]

[all groaning]

- Ugh! - Never in my life!

- I'm outta here! - Wait!

I'm so sorry. Please don't go.

[dialing phone] Come on, Leni. Pick up.

[line trilling] Ohh!

She's not answering!

[gasps] I really messed up.

And Leni's the only one who can help me fix this.

We have to find her.

- How? You sent her to an imaginary address.

- We'll have to search the whole city.

[engine roars]

Leni!

Leni?

Oh, what's the use?

We've been driving around forever,

and we're almost out of time.

[tires screech]

I give up.

At this point, it would take a miracle to--

- Hi, Carlota. - [gasps]

Leni! - O-M-Gosh!

I'm so sorry this is taking so long.

I can't find that boutique you sent me to.

GPS keeps directing me to a dumpster.

- You have nothing to apologize for.

There's no boutique.

I sent you on a wild goose chase

to get you out of the studio because I was jealous

of your relationship with Mariella.

[sighs] I'm really sorry.

I wouldn't blame you if you never spoke to me again.

- O-M-Gosh.

- Awkward.

- [coughs]

- I messed things up so badly

that we can't even do the show now.

But don't worry, I'll tell Mariella

it's all my fault.

She'll definitely fire me, but...

[sighs] I deserve it.

- You know, there's still minutes till the show.

I think we can save it.

- Wait, you still wanna work with me?

- Of course.

What you did wasn't very nice,

but you're my friend, and I forgive you.

So what do we need?

- For starters: food, beverages, music, clothes...

- Not a problem.

- And models.

- Also not a problem.

I've got an idea.

all: Yeah!

[upbeat electronic music playing]

[crowd cheering]

[trumpets]

This was an amazing show.

You've exceeded my expectations. [chuckles]

- I can't take all the credit, Mariella.

This was actually a team effort.

- Oh, well, you do make a great team.

I'm officially hiring both of you.

[elephant trumpets] Ooh!

Gotta go wrangle the elephant.

- Team Len-ota.

- [squawks] Time to give the people what they want.

[both laugh]

- Lily, Lily, we don't need a train set.

We're here for a coffee table.

- [groans] [blows raspberry]

- As ours has been reduced to firewood kindling.

- My bad. Next time, my dogsled team will use a real sled.

[laughs] Yeah!

Ooh! [crashing]

Ugh, I'm still pickin' splinters outta my butt.

- Now, people, eyes on the prize.

Do not get distracted by anything.

- Whoa! All-inclusive vacations?

- That's right! - Whoa! Uh!

- At a luxurious new lakefront Michigan resort!

We've got it all:

five-star dining, posh suites,

brand-new gym, cruises around the lake,

did I mention the posh suites?

You pay up front,

and everything is included for your stay.

[all exclaiming]

- All right. All right, all right.

Family meeting time.

- [blows]

- Guys, what did I just say?

We are here for a coffee table.

- Please, Dad! - I don't need

to go to college. - I'll never ask

for anything ever again this week!

- Yeah, Dad, please?

Just wait until you see our prices.

[both gasp]

- But that's so cheap!

- [clears throat]

Something is not adding up.

- It's the offseason, so we're giving out deals, little girl.

Might wanna take advantage.

- Hmm.

- Especially because this one-time offer

is only available for the next, um,

five minutes. [blows]

- All right! What the heck?

We're due for some fun.

The Louds are in!

[all cheering]

- Just sign this, and you're all set.

- Uh, Father, I recommend reading

this legally-binding document first.

- Ehh, that's gonna take forever!

- Yeah, Lisa. Stop being a worrywart.

It causes early-onset wrinkles.

[all cheering]

- [laughs evilly]

[tropical music]

- All right.

[all gasp] - Vic?

- [laughs]

- Didn't recognize me under those palm fronds, huh?

Yep, Gilly and I own this place,

don't we, Gil-Gil?

[kisses]

Your room is down the hall.

- Dad, I don't know about this.

Vic has pulled shady stuff in the past.

- I think you're overthinking it.

All righty, here's our room.

Oh, my-- [all gasping]

Ehh, what is that smell?

[all exclaim]

- I've located the source, father.

I believe it used to be scrambled eggs.

Or chicken.

- This is so not like the pictures.

- More like something out of a horror movie.

- Oh, yes, please.

- [gasps] Look! You need quarters

to use anything in this room.

- The can, too! [stomach rumbles]

I need a quarter, stat!

Those gas station burritos went right through me. Uhh!

- Hm. Our time for the lights must have expired.

- [wailing]

This is terrible!

Daddy, do something!

[rumbling]

[screams] [birds chirping]

- Okay, give me spring break vibe.

That's right.

- [coughs] Vic, we need a different room.

[spits] Ours is a complete dumpster fire.

- Sorry you feel that way,

but currently, you're a level client,

which is why you're in the yellow room.

Now, I could upgrade you to the purple level,

where you might be more comfortable.

But you'll need to pay more.

- [screams]

That's a car payment!

For a very nice car!

No thank you!

We'll stick with the yellow room.

[both laugh]

Ugh, Gilly. No more fish heads for dinner.

- [rattling]

- Well, we're gonna have to make it work,

unless we wanna hand over the kids' college funds

for an upgrade.

I am so sorry. [sobs]

- Uh, now's not the time to say I told you so

about the contract, right?

- Look, guys. I know this room is disgusting,

but there's gotta be some stuff we can enjoy,

like the pool tomorrow.

- Ooh! And "The Dream Boat" finale is on.

- Tonight, on "The Dream Boat"...

- She has an eye condition, Stan.

You can't splash her.

[static crackling] - How did Stan respond?

We missed it! - Hold on, hold on.

- Move over, Daddy. You're not fast enough with the quarters.

[crashing] - Ow!

- Well, that was the most shocking thing

we've ever seen on "Dream Boat."

what the breakfast buffet looks like.

[crashing] - Ah, ah, ah.

This is our red level buffet.

The yellow level buffet is over there.

[flies buzzing]

- There's nothing here but canned tuna. [retches]

- Oh, and don't forget, there's a fee to use the can opener.

[all groan]

- Well, this looks promising.

- Cannonball!

[grunts]

[groans]

- Ah, ah, ah, yellow level customers

can only stick their feet in the water.

If you wanna put your body in, you have to pay a fee.

[all wail] - [groans]

- What spa treatments are available for yellow level?

- I'm glad you asked.

- Huh! Ah! Ah!

- I know Vic's a scammer,

but how bad could a free boat ride be?

- Very bad, as it turns out!

[both scream]

- [spits]

- All right, Vic, that's the last straw.

This entire weekend's been one big scam.

I demand a refund.

- No can do.

You should've read the contract.

It clearly states, "no refunds."

- Ohh!

- Ah!

- I am so sorry.

I tried to get our money back, but I couldn't.

[sobs] I failed you as a father.

Ahh! More pigeons! [birds cooing]

- Ah! Maybe we should just go home.

- Hang on a second.

We're going to let Vic get away with this?

- What other choice do we have?

- Maybe we can turn the tables on him.

What if we expose him to the world?

We could get Katherine Mulligan to do an undercover piece.

- [sighs] He beat us. Again.

- I just wish we could've given Vic

a taste of his own medicine.

Or any medicine, 'cause it's all yucky.

- Ha, Gilly, too. Look at this.

Now she's eating my tires.

- Don't worry, those are double tread.

[tire pops]

both: Dang it.

- Ugh, who has a gila monster for a pet, anyway?

- Yeah, that thing is a menace.

There should totes be a law against it.

- Wait a minute.

That's actually a salient point.

Let me just pull up the Michigan State

Department of Wildlife regulations.

Oh, uh, I need a quarter for the Wi-Fi.

- Got it. [modem sounds beeping]

- Hm. Looks like Vic missed some fine print of his own.

- Hey, there, Vic, old buddy, old pal.

Afraid we got some bad news for you.

- We just discovered that according to state regulations,

Gila monsters are not allowed in hotel establishments.

Animal Control is on the way as we speak.

- All we want is the vacation we were promised.
