an' I'm having a hard
time remembering

all the attack names.

It can be kind o' tough
at first Sylvester

but I'm sure you'll
get the hang of it

with a little practice.

Farfetch'd trained

are ya gonna try t' compete
in the Johto League! ?

Well maybe someday I might
but what I really wanna do

is t' learn how t' make
purifying charcoal

just like my father does!

Purifying charcoal?

Oh boy.. I love
purifying charcoal.

Really Brock y' mean you
actu'lly heard about it? !

What's purifying charcoal?

Well, it's really
amazing stuff Misty...

It's a kind o' burnt wood
that's used for fuel

but it purifies water and
t' cleans the air too!

And the charcoal made from the
wood here in the Ilex Forest

is world famous for
being super top quality!

In fact it's an important
part o' my secret recipe

for Brock's Rockin' Rice!

I take one bag o'
Pewter City rice...

add three glasses of
Mt. Moon Spring water,

and then most
importantly

boil over a fire built with
sticks of Ilex Charcoal

and..then...I simmer
for minutes...

for a taste that's
beyond compare.

I think it's really
cool that y' know

how t' make somethin'
that important Sylvester.

I'm still trying t' learn
the right way t' make it...

my father's trying
t' teach me how.

I'll bet you'll be doin'
it on your own it in no time!

Soon as I learn all the
secret techniques
