- They're decorations for tonight's international fair.

Do you mean we'll be seeing things

There'll be lots of booths all over the park.

- Each booth has clothes and toys

and music from a different country.

- And maybe food too?

(Jackson gasps)

Pizza, perhaps?

- [Children] Ooh, yeah!

- [Barney] Okay.

- [Jackson] What are all these signs for?

- They point to the different booths in the fair.

See, in this part of the park, there's Kenya,

Brazil, Germany,

Italy and South Korea.

- Today, it looks like a little bit

of each country is right here.

Oh, look at all the decorated booths.

Which one should we visit first?

- Hmm. - Let's go see

the Kenya booth.

(upbeat music)

- Okay, that's a great idea.

(children talking)

- Barney?

I thought you were behind us.

(speaking in foreign language)

- What did you just say?

- I said, "Hello, welcome to Kenya" in Swahili.

Like some of my friends in Kenya do.

- Where is Kenya, Barney?

- Kenya is a country in Africa,

and there are lots of things you'll like about it.

- Look at this drum!

(upbeat drum music)

- Oh, nothing beats a drum.

- What's this, Barney?

- Oh, that's a kalimba.

(plinking music)

- I like the sound of this.

What is it, Barney?

- Oh, that's a shakera.

It's made from a gourd,

and it's covered with tiny shells.

Oh, and that's a tic toc drum, Kami.

- Cool!

- What's really cool are all the animals in Kenya.

Look!

Lions, giraffes and elephants.

- Hey neat! - Wow!

- And here are some clothes that people often wear

when they go on a safari in Kenya.

- Wouldn't it be fun to go on a safari?

- That would be so much fun! - That would be so good.

- Well, we could go on a camera safari

and take pictures of all the animals.

- Oh, yeah! - We could?

- Whoa.

In Brazil, people wear fancy costumes and masks

like this every year for a special holiday called Carnival.

They sing and dance in parades.

Oh, and there are more carnival masks

That's what they call cowboys in Brazil.

Gauchos wear hats like these.

And these leather shorts are called lederhosen.

Sometimes people wear these

in a part of Germany called Bavaria.

- They are hot dogs.

But in Germany they're called frankfurters.

Oh, and there's another one

of my favorite snacks from Germany!

- They like soccer.

I mean football.

- Oh, I think people everywhere like football,

or soccer, whatever you want to call it.

- This is a cool boat, Barney.

- It's called a gondola, Scott.

They're used in Venice,

a very special city in Italy.

- Why is Venice special, Barney?

- Instead of roads, it has lots of canals

filled with water.

And instead of cars, people use boats to go places.

Oh, Venice is a city where you really

have to row, row, row your boat to get around.

And they also like to eat lots

of vegetables in something called pibimbap.

It's a very tasty meal

made with rice, vegetables and meats.

Oh, and sometimes they use these to eat with.

- Those are really big.

- Well, well, mine are a little bigger than most.

- I like to eat with chopsticks.

These kids are practicing tae kwan do.

I take tae kwon do lessons.

- So do I.

- Tae kwon do started in Korea,

and it's a fun way to exercise.

- These are pretty clothes.

- Korean children wear clothes

like those on special holidays, like Children's Day.

It's one of the biggest celebrations in Korea.

Children and their families play games together all day.

- Wow.
