- Previously on "RuPaul's
Drag Race Down Under"...
You'll be showing off
your talent
at our annual drag brunch.
- It's time for you
to save a life, b*tch.
- Bumpa Love.
- It felt like you
didn't have the jokes
in the tank at any point.
- Gabriela Labucci,
where is the depth?
Where are the other colors?
!sis Avis Loren.
- That turn that you
did that encompassed you
in the scarving, it was
just really, really beautiful.
- Condragulations,
you are the winner
of this week's challenge.
[dramatic music]
Gabriella Labucci,
shantay, you stay.
Bumpa Love, sashay away.
[upbeat music]
- "My darlings,
you're all b*tches.
"But I love you always.
Call me if you need work,
assholes, Bumpa."
- [laughs]
- I'm really sad to see her go.
Bumpa has provided
a place of work for me,
a space where
I've been able to blossom.
- It's a very bittersweet
victory.
Bye, Bumps.
Because I was not ready
to go home,
but also, at the same time,
I feel awful
because I've just taken
Bumpa's dream away from her.
My second win.
Oh, my God!
- Yes.
- I am so thrilled.
- Well deserved.
- Thank you.
That's not your arm.
- [laughs]
- I just wanted
to share my story.
And to have won with this
is beyond words.
- Top four!
- Yeah!
- Girls, who do
we think is going
to be the top three next week?
I've got two wins now,
so does Holly.
Out of track record, Flor,
you are the next person to go.
- Girl.
- It's true.
You've been in the bottom,
and you haven't had a win yet.
And Gab's the runner-up to that.
- I think Gabriella Labucci
will be the next one to go.
I would say that Flor is
a stronger competitor.
But who knows?
There are twists
and turns all the time.
- I just really want
to be the first Australian
to win the f*cking thing.
I will fight to the end.
- The pressure is on.
It's three f*cking
Australians against just me.
- Because I had to lip-synch,
I really feel like
I need to prove why I need
to stay in this competition.
Do you want
to hear my t*ts fart?
- Yeah, go on.
- [laughs]
- Absolutely, I'm gonna show
Ru why I deserve to be here.
- It's a drag centipede.
- I want that crown.
I want that prize money.
Come in.
Top four is beautiful, oh!
I'm so close to the end
I can taste it.
Ah, the shock!
[yelling]
What a world, what a world.
I'm not going down
without a fight.
That's for sure.
- You survived!
- I did.
- The winner of "RuPaul's
Drag Race Down Under"
will receive a year's
supply of cosmetics
from Anastasia Beverly Hills
and a cash prize of $50,000.
Tonight with Michelle Visage,
Rhys Nicholson,
and our extra special guest
judge Josh Cavallo.
[upbeat music]
[singing] RuPaul's Drag Race
May the best drag queen win
Best drag queen win
[exciting music]
- One!
- Two!
- Three!
- Flor!
[laughter]
It's a new week
in the Werk Room.
I'm excited, I'm happy, but...
- Oh, top four!
- Top four!
- Yes!
This is the last chance.
I feel like, if you don't
have a win under your belt,
what are you doing here,
darling?
I really need that win.
I need it.
- Is this the top four
that you thought it would be?
- Honestly, no.
- I thought it would be myself,
definitely !sis,
and definitely Flor.
- f*ck my drag, right?
- I didn't know.
I didn't know you, so I didn't...
- That's fair.
- I had no idea.
- The top four that I
would have thought...
who else was here?
- Last week's critiques
were a lot for you, Holly.
How are you feeling this week?
- I feel fine,
only because that's not
something that's going
to stop me from getting
to that top three.
- Because I mean,
in "Untucked," I did say
that like I think
maybe Ru was just looking
for some vulnerability.
It's just interesting
because what Ru is asking for,
I can see it.
Hollywould being out of drag
shows exactly what
Ru wants to see.
She is the most lovely,
and funny, and friendly.
But then the runway comes,
and it's like, mm.
There's more than a fierce face.
- I got a similar critique
in like,
we're not seeing that little
bit more that we want.
It's just really
getting in there.
You know?
- It's hard.
- It is confusing.
- It's hard.
- G'day, G'day, G'day.
[all screaming]
- And with that note,
we're gonna to go do that.
- Ooh.
- Sorry.
- My queens!
Now, as you know,
we are just one week away
from crowning "Down Under's"
next drag superstar.
And it's time for one
of my favorite challenges
with a little twist.
- G'day, b*tches.
It's a drag queen's
best friend, Norvina.
Anastasia Beverly Hills
is thrilled
to be embarking
on another adventure
with "Ru-Paw's Drag Race
Down Under."
- Norvina looks
absolutely gorgeous,
and I'm loving these b*tch puns
she's giving us.
- This challenge might
get "ruff," but remember,
anything is "pawsible."
And in the end,
the wiener takes it all.
- Oh!
- Please give a warm
"Drag Race" welcome
to some furry friends of mine.
[all exclaiming]
- Look at all these babies.
- I'm very overwhelmed seeing
dogs walk into the Werk Room.
I've been missing
my dog so f*cking much,
and definitely
the pick me up that I think
we all needed at this point
in the competition.
- Hi, I'm Taina,
and this is Blue.
- Hi, my name is Grace.
This is Burrito.
- My name is Aaron.
This is Billy.
- My name is Arlene,
and this is my dog,
Rupert,
or sometimes, I call him Ru.
- Ru is a stunt queen.
[laughter]
For this season's
makeover challenge,
you need to transform
these dog lovers
and their doggies into members
of your drag family.
#DragRaceDownUnder.
!sis, as the winner
of last week's challenge,
you get to choose your makeover
and assign makeovers
to the other queens.
- Oh, my God.
They're all so cute.
I think I will go
with Taina and Blue.
- !sis was a clever b*tch.
She saw the skinny b*tch,
and she was like...
Well, not the dog,
the other b*tch.
[laughs]
- Gabriella, I think I'll
put you with Aaron and Billy.
- There's a saying that every
dog looks like their owner.
And that's how I'm going
to decide who goes with who.
- And for Holly, I'll go
with Arlene and Rupert.
- And that means Flor will
go with Grace and Burrito.
[dog barks]
- Now, queens,
you can use your own drag,
plus any of the fabulous
footwear provided by Shoe Me...
Cut to Rupert's a*s.
[laughter]
Racers, start your engines,
and may the best drag queen...
[barking]
[upbeat music]
- Do you know how to shake?
Good boy.
Hi, Taina.
Are you going to hug me?
- Yes, I am.
- So this week's maxi challenge
is a makeover,
but with a twist.
We've got puppies!
- Hello. Oh, hi.
- He likes you.
- Yeah.
- He's definitely an ally.
He likes boys.
He's a bit q*eer himself.
- Oh, good, good.
- Yeah.
- He's really leaning in.
- Yeah, he's really...
- Ooh.
My heart is so warm.
And I feel like
Blue and I can just
communicate without
saying even a single word.
You just said you had a partner.
- Yes.
- And it's a she?
- Yes.
- Wonderful.
So you're a part
of the q*eer family.
- Yes, what about you?
Do you have a partner?
- Well, I do, yes.
His name is Lee.
Oh, look.
- Ru!
Oh, my God, he stole the treats.
Hey, Ru.
[whistles]
Come here.
Good boy.
Yeah, good boy.
Good job, Ru.
Sit.
- Good boy.
- Good boy.
- Oh, my god, I am so excited
about this challenge.
Thank you for doing this.
My biggest challenge this week
is just making Arlene
as stunning as possible.
When !sis was
putting us together,
I was hoping
that I would get you.
- Oh, thank you.
- I haven't made over
a lot of people,
so I need to really focus
and hone in on the makeup.
- Hopefully,
Rupert behaves himself.
- I think he will.
Like, he so reminds me
of Winston.
I've had Winston now six years.
And I think Winston has really
kind of like saved my life.
Like, there have been times
where I've felt so alone.
And you know, he's always there.
- Yeah, I agree.
He's the best.
I've had, like,
a tough start to the year
because my best friend Lou
died by suicide six weeks ago.
So it's been, like,
a really hard time.
But Rupert was just like...
He's just been so amazing.
And he just like...
He's been more snuggly than
ever because I think he knows.
Yeah, it's been a lot, hey, Ru?
- Oh, I'm very sorry
to hear that.
- Yeah.
- Can I give you a hug?
- Yeah.
- Arlene is
an amazing individual.
I am so happy
to have little Arlene
as being my first drag baby.
- Aww.
Say hi, Flor.
- Like, no.
I got Grace and Burrito,
and I'm very happy with it.
- He's just a bit unsure,
like, for new faces.
- He will get used to it.
- Yes.
- With time,
I'll get to know them.
They get to know me.
- I'm from Philippines.
- I'm from Guatemala.
We have, like,
similar Spanish words.
- Oh, yes, yes.
- Silla, tenedor.
- Yes, oh, my gosh, yes!
- I just have to make sure
that I inject a little bit
of Flor on her
because she's a bit too quiet.
But like, I need volume.
I need... you know,
I need everything.
I need the drama.
Are you excited for me
to put you in drag, full glam?
- I am very excited.
So me and my husband
are like massive fans of...
- Oh.
- "Drag Race."
So he's a trans man.
- That is lovely.
- I love him for who he is.
And he was actually practicing.
- Was he practicing?
- And he was like
doing the Vogue thing.
I was like, no, no, no,
I'm going to do that.
- Ah! I love that.
- So you said you've
seen "Drag Race" before.
- I have.
- So you know
what you've signed up for.
- Yeah.
- Why?
- I don't know.
I don't know why
I'm actually here.
Guess it's just an experience.
- Serious question...
The mustache.
- Yeah.
- The beautiful woman
that I want him to be
doesn't have a mustache.
- I'm happy to do it for you.
- You're happy to get rid of it?
- Yeah, happy to get rid of it.
- What about the eyebrows?
- Probably not.
- I will try my hardest
to make sure that they
are not crusty oatmeal eyebrows.
- I'm happy for you to give
them a little trim if need be.
- I'm sure we'll manage.
- I'm a little bit
concerned about Gabriella.
She's been getting a lot
of critiques about her makeup.
And this time, she just
doesn't have to paint her face.
She has to paint
someone else's face.
Oh, Gabriella.
Gabriella.
- Are you familiar
with what a foamy is?
A lot of down under queens
wear these headpieces
that are made of foam.
That's very much so what
we're going to be doing.
- OK.
- I've brought foam wigs
with me because they can
give a very camp character.
And it's what I do best.
Hey, baby. Hi.
The second we saw dogs walk in,
I was trying so hard not to cry
because I've been missing
my dog so much.
I brought these over
to show you.
I have a little sausage dog.
Her name's Trixie.
- So cute.
- And it's been so hard
being away from her
because, like, she sleeps
in the bed with me every night.
She's a f*cking ratbag,
but I wouldn't
have her any other way.
She's so mental.
Oh!
- Good girl.
- For me, I don't know
if I'm going to have kids.
I would have loved to have given
my parents some grandbabies.
They treat my dog
as their grandchild.
They love having her over.
- You're going to have
your makeover too.
- You're going to be a drag dog.
- I think it very well
could be the same
for a lot of q*eer people
because we've
got a lot of love to give.
And we can't necessarily
give that to a child.
What have you got?
- Oh.
- He got a sock.
Whose sock is that?
Because we don't have
the right mechanics
to make a child.
It's too expensive.
It's ill*gal.
- Oh, you look beautiful
in blonde.
- You'll be the talk
of the park.
- Dogs just love
you unconditionally.
Oh, my God,
you're such a ratbag.
Good girl. Good girl.
Cats are assholes.
My cat pissed
in my drag bag once.
I'm f*cking not impressed.
- Hey, racers.
All: Hi!
- Who let the dogs out?
[dog barking]
All right, Hollywould,
Ru, and Ru's mommy.
- Good boy. Good boy.
- Now, Rupert, Ru?
Ru.
[imitating Australian accent]
Ru, look at me, look at me.
[dog barks]
- What's your experience been
so far in the "Drag Race"?
[laughing]
Hey, Arlene.
Have you ever done
high drag before?
- No, never.
- What do you hope
that this experience
will bring out in you?
- Maybe a bit more confidence.
I can often be quite
like I'm wearing
these big, bright colors,
but sometimes,
I feel quite insecure.
- Drag is like the Superman
to your Clark Kent.
So this is an opportunity
for a superhero to emerge.
So now, Hollywould, I went back
and looked at your paperwork.
Last week, you said you were 28,
but your paperwork
says you're 34.
Tell me about that.
- Oh!
- I am 28.
- You are 28?
- Yes.
- Well, who wrote 34
on your paperwork?
- I don't know who wrote 34.
[laughter]
It must have been
a mysterious man.
- How old do I look?
Exactly.
[laughs]
- Quick!
What year were you born in?
[record scratch]
- [laughs]
People in Hollywood don't
tell people their age, OK?
- !sis, Taina, and Blue...
Now, Taina, what's
the closest to full drag
you've come in your life?
- I haven't personally done it,
but my brother,
he used to always love it
when we're a bit younger.
He would come up to me
and my sister and be like,
should we play that game where
you put me into some coconuts?
And he's not g*y or anything,
but you know,
he loved that game.
- Oh, I love that.
- He'll probably
hate me for this.
- No, he's going to be jealous,
is what he's going to be.
So you won
the challenge last week.
Have you surprised yourself
in this competition?
- I know the talents
that I have within.
I'm just surprised
that I've been able
to sort of settle into myself
and just go for it.
There's been a couple of times
where I've sort of...
[inhales sharply]
At myself or like, oh.
But I've relaxed.
I've gone, no, you got this.
- All right, I'm excited
to see your superhero.
You're in good hands.
- Yay.
- Flor, you got
Grace and Burrito.
Do you have a dog at home?
- I used to have two chihuahuas
back in Guatemala.
- You, a chihuahua?
- I know.
I don't know what
happened with me.
- Have we talked about a name?
- Rosa, Flor, and Burrito.
- My husband,
ever since we got together,
he always gives me roses.
And we make it like
a Spanish, like Rosa.
- Yeah, I love that.
So now, this competition, is
it what you expected it to be?
- Not really.
- What did you expect?
- I was, like,
I have to concentrate.
I have to do everything
perfect to win.
But since I came here, I was
like, I need to have fun...
- Yeah.
- And just be more me.
- Burrito,
have you ever worn heels?
- Just boots.
[laughter]
- Well, Burrito,
just remember, do not put
the weight on the heel itself.
Put it on the ball of your paw.
- Billy, Aaron,
and Gabriella Labucci.
Now, Aaron,
did you grow up with dogs?
- Yes, I've still got
my dog back home in England.
- Where in England are you from?
- I'm from Birmingham.
Have you been there before?
- I've been to England.
[laughter]
Aaron, have you
done drag before?
- I have.
My friend does drag.
And she painted me.
And like, I looked
like a wh*re, basically.
- It was a success.
- Yeah.
I definitely think
everyone's got to try it once.
Like, it's something
that I've never felt before.
- Now, Gabriella Labucci.
- Yes.
- Earlier, I heard
you talking about what
the judges are expecting
from you and wanting more.
We talked about that,
you know, you are prone
to come and do your act,
which is,
wonk-wonk-wonk,
nuk-nuk-nuk, eh-eh-eh...
[blows raspberry]
We, the judges, would love
to see more range from you.
Last week,
you did a runway look.
It was still wonk-wonk.
But you were trying.
- That was my version
of sexy, I suppose.
Yeah.
- Yeah.
Well, you know, once you let go
of what other people think
and just feel it,
whatever emerges, go for it.
Go for it.
You're a f*cking superhero!
Give your audience all of it.
That's why we love Celine Dion.
She gives it all!
Oh, I could not
love her more for it.
All right, kids,
you've heard enough from me.
I cannot wait
to see all these...
[singing] Queens on that runway
It's going to be fun.
- Thank you, Ru.
- Thank you so much.
- Thank you.
- Thank you.
- All right, racers,
tomorrow on the main stage,
you'll be making your drag
doggy debuts,
where we will be joined by
our extra special guest judge,
Aussie footballer, Josh Cavallo.
- Oh!
- I don't know much
about soccer or football,
but what I do know
is that Josh Cavallo
is such a cutie patootie.
And I'm so excited to see him
on the judges' panel this week.
- So good luck,
and don't f*ck it up.
- Would you go shorter or?
- Yeah, I reckon we will.
We'll make her slutty.
Just short enough
so that if you bent over,
you'd see your breakfast.
I think I'm starting
to understand
what Ru's asking of me.
You want to try some hips
or anything on?
- Yeah, let's do it.
Why not?
Let's do it.
- I just have
to try and give sexy.
How much of a fat a*s
do you want?
And if it isn't sexy...
- I want it pretty fat.
- At least I'm having a go
and I'm dropping the shtick.
I'm dropping the wink-wink,
nudge-nudge.
- Billy. Billy.
- OK, Burrito, let me see.
- Let's see.
It won't.
- Nah.
- I don't think it'll fit.
- Tell me about your family.
- My mom inspires me a lot.
She left, like,
her first marriage
with her four-year-old son,
and she hitchhiked
from Colombia
all the way to Brazil.
She was so fearless.
She was always so welcoming
and, like,
just so loving to everyone.
And she unfortunately
was diagnosed with cancer.
And the doctors were like,
you know,
if you don't do the surgery,
you'll have two years to live.
Like, being her,
stubborn, fearless,
she didn't want that.
Oh, it was like, I think
the hardest thing I've ever
gone through watching someone
I love deteriorate so much.
But it's taught me a lot.
Like, it's taught me
to be really vulnerable.
And I think
I resonated with what Ru said
about being vulnerable.
There's actually
so much strength in that.
- Yeah.
- It's scarier.
Like, it's easy
to just be tough, pretend.
Like, that was me before.
I just never opened up
to anyone.
I was always really,
like, surface level.
And you have deeper connections
with people.
So you're like, I see your pain.
You see my pain.
This is like... this is me.
Like, you know?
And I feel that energy from you.
Like, I feel like you're really
vulnerable, which is nice.
- Despite this loss
that Taina's experienced,
she's still radiating
love and joy,
and her energy
is just beautiful.
It's inspiring.
- Come, Burrito, mi amor.
Hello.
Welcome, we're finally here...
- It's just like
a dream come true.
- On the main stage
of "RuPaul's Drag Race."
You just feel your fantasy.
Have fun.
Because if you're having fun,
they're gonna have fun with you.
- Absolutely.
- I'm just keep repeating that
to her because she's nervous.
I'm just trying to support her.
You feel yourself.
Body, face, get them.
Grab the guys.
Touch them.
And then is when you
give me, Burrito.
There's a step that I really
want to do to grab Burrito
because I think
the connection has to be
Rosa and I and Burrito and I.
- Come on, boo-boo.
Mi amor, come here.
Come here, come here.
He's like...
[growling]
- Aww, there you go.
Good boy.
- Still very shy.
Do you think he's gonna be fine?
- I think so.
- Just literally hoping
that he gets used to it.
- Oh, my God.
- You OK?
- Yeah, my legs are tired.
- Darling, we just have started.
Well, if you want
to remove the heels
for a little bit, it's OK.
- Maybe.
- You want to remove it?
- Yeah.
- Tomorrow, when I
put the heels on her,
I'm gonna put glue
on her, b*tch.
- Five, six, seven, eight.
Lovely.
Taina has taken to drag
like a duck to water.
Letting the judges drink you in,
in all of your
goddess-ness-ness-ness-ness.
- Blue,
what about your goddess-ness?
- Uh-huh.
Ness, ness, ness, ness, ness.
She's a drag queen.
Look at all of the judges.
Yes.
Keep eye contact with them.
My one concern
is that Taina might
get a little shy
with the judges watching them.
Drink it in.
Just breathe it.
And be like, I'm here.
If I can allow the space
for her to be herself,
she's gonna shine.
- House of Loren, out.
[dog barking]
- Oh, my God!
Rupert, are you so excited?
I'm so excited to have you.
I want us to have fun.
[dog barking]
I'm definitely
starting to panic.
Ru is trying to upstage me!
OK.
We're trying to rehearse.
You walk down straight here.
And then, we do another pose.
And trying to get
this together...
[grunting]
It's not my responsibility
to train your dog.
[dog barking]
- What is it?
- Do you want a treat?
- What?
- I can't be in the bottom.
I can't go home.
[light music]
It's too close to the crown.
Queen, sit.
- Welcome to the main stage.
I think Aaron's feeling
a bit flustered.
Is it everything you dreamed of?
- It's definitely different.
- I need him to be comfortable
because if he's having
a good time,
it'll read on his face,
and the judges will be like,
oh, my God, you two are bonding.
- Should we try with leads?
- No.
- Or without leads?
Are you...
- I kind of like it without lead
because all the other girls
are going to do with lead.
- Yeah, OK.
- It's a point of difference.
- Yeah.
- Oh, you're so clever.
Get that tail.
Get that tail.
For such a young dog, Aaron's
got her very well-trained.
Billy.
Sit.
All the other girls are
gonna be doing it on lead.
Where you going?
Lily?
- Lily, come.
- We're not doing
a lead on the runway.
We're taking a risk.
Go to Dad.
Go, go.
Go.
I think we can play
to this as a strength.
- Are you happy?
How do you feel?
- Yeah, great.
So now is when we're gonna add
in cartwheels and death drops.
No, I'm kidding, I'm kidding.
- Yeah.
[upbeat music]
- Ooh.
- Pow!
- It's a new day
in the Werk Room.
And it's time
to add a new family member
to my drag family.
- How late did you stay?
- Yeah, I stayed until 11:00?
Yeah, I was like
hot-gluing and hand-sewing,
hot-gluing and hand-sewing.
- Yeah, I was
hand-sewing till 10:30,
so I understand your pain.
- I'm excited.
- Yeah.
- I'm excited to have the dogs
in the Werk Room again.
Bring in the dogs.
[all exclaiming]
- And I'm not talking
about Bumpa Love, honey.
- So we've all gained sisters,
or mothers, or daughters.
But someone's lost
something today.
- My virginity!
- Someone's mustache.
- And my arms, like...
- Underarms!
- Everything.
- And my chest.
- Oh, my goodness!
- You're gonna be so pretty.
I'm nervous.
I've put people in drag before.
I've done a couple of friends.
And I've done my mom and my dad.
Define successful.
Like, I could see
my face on them.
It's just, it wasn't
the best face at that point
in time, so...
- All righty, so who's
ready to get into it?
- Let's go!
[phone ringing]
- Can't come to the phone.
- Hello?
Oh, Venus, you're a... oh,
how are you, Venus, darling?
You well?
- So good.
So good.
- Oh, that's lovely, dear!
I'll see you on the dance floor.
- How do you feel?
- Very excited
and still a bit nervous.
- Just try to have fun
because if you have fun,
they're gonna have fun with us.
- Yes, I will.
[dog barking]
- So last night,
I had a bit
of a dive deep internally.
Ru always says, you know,
if you can't love yourself,
how are you going
to love someone else?
And I'm asking of you
today to feel sexy.
But I hide behind the comedy
because like I don't
necessarily love my body.
I don't feel sexy.
I don't feel desirable.
I often look
at myself in the mirror
and just see a sack of bones,
and I actually f*cking
hate that.
I can't put weight on.
And it's not
necessarily something
I'm comfortable talking
about all the time
because like people think
you want to be skinny.
Like, why would you
not want to be skinny?
And that's not
what I want to be.
From the get-go
of this competition,
I've said, you know,
delusional confidence,
it's about exuding the fact
that I am super confident
to almost just convince
myself that I am.
And I thought I did love myself.
I think it was just the
personality that I was loving,
not the sack of skin
that I'm stuck with.
- We'll definitely
feel like that tonight.
I'll make sure.
I'll make sure of that.
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- I mean, ultimately,
I just want you to have fun.
- Yeah.
- But if you're feeling sexy,
that's a f*cking win too.
- Yeah, and I really, really
appreciate like how comfortable
you've made me throughout.
Pretty much the moment
I got here,
you made me feel so comfortable.
Yeah, I really appreciate that.
- Competition is so stressful.
I have been tested physically
and mentally each
and every f*cking day here.
Because I look around
the room, and I see all
these f*cking talented b*tches.
And I have to remind myself
that I'm on the same level
as these girls,
and I'm worthy of being here.
I really want
to be here till the end.
I just want
to be able to go home
and tell my loved ones
that I did it.
I did the thing.
- Excuse me.
- Because I've learned
a lot as well.
- Girl, you've got my socks.
- Drop.
Just say drop,
and she will drop.
- Drop.
Thank you.
- You're supposed to let her
sabotage that one.
She's the makeup girl.
We need to throw her
under the bus.
- So yesterday, we were
talking about our husbands.
How's the journey
of your husband?
- When I first met him,
he was still
transitioning
because he was an advocate
for the rainbow community.
He was able to open
my eyes and my... you know,
myself to accept
different gender identities.
I was able to meet people
from different colors
of the rainbow community...
- Yeah.
- Which is amazing.
Because, for me, it was like.
Everything was just new.
And then, I'm in drag.
So I feel like
I was destined to be
part of "RuPaul's Drag Race."
Yeah.
Like, I don't want to cry,
but like,
it's just, the "Drag Race"
is so close to my heart.
So I'm just so...
- Aww, baby.
- I'm just so happy
to be part of it,
and you being my drag mother.
- I'm your mother.
And I'm proud of you.
- Oh, thank you.
And I want to meet your husband.
I can probably give him
a makeover later.
I can be
his drag mother as well.
- Yeah.
- It's just a pleasure
for me to share this journey
and gift with them.
Come see yourself.
- [gasp] Oh, my God!
[laughter]
- Gorgeous.
- Hi, Rosa.
- I do feel confident.
She's snatched
to the f*cking gods today.
Snatched!
You feel it now?
- Yes.
- Feel it, mama!
I feel like
this could be my win.
Hopefully.
[dramatic music]
- [singing] Cover girl,
put the bass in your walk
Head to toe,
let your whole body talk
And what?
Welcome to the main stage
of "RuPaul's Drag Race
Down Under."
It's my boss b*tch,
Michelle Visage.
Michelle,
who are these two pooches?
- Ah, those are my babies!
And I just want to say,
if they're watching,
Mommy's gonna be
home really soon.
I love you.
[laughter]
- And, Rhys Nicholson,
who's that girl?
- Oh, that's my Hopkins.
She's very beautiful,
which is lucky
because she is
very f*cking stupid.
She takes
after her mother that way.
- And our extra special
guest judge, Josh Cavallo.
Now, is this the love
of your life?
- That's my baby, Chester.
He's a naughty little one,
but sometimes,
we like to be a little naughty.
- Why not?
This week,
we challenged our queens
to transform pet parents
into members
of their own drag family.
And tonight on the runway,
they are ready to walk the dog.
Racers, start your engines.
And may the best drag queen win.
I'll tell you what I want.
Category is Drag Family
Resemblance: Doggy Style.
Up first, Hollywould Star,
Ava Star, and their dog,
Ruby Star.
I hope they're staying
at a dog friendly resort.
- Welcome to the Hollywould,
Ava, and Ruby Resort,
where anybody
who is anyone goes.
- What can I say?
I like big mutts,
and I cannot lie.
- My garment is a beautiful
dress with a kaftan cape
and, of course,
the 50-inch human hair.
Ava is looking stunning.
She is feeling the fantasy.
I am so proud of her.
Little Rupert, AKA Ruby Star,
has definitely
had some improvement
from our practice run.
But today,
he has shaken that off.
- Rupert's wearing real fur,
and he's proud of it.
- Aww.
- Up next, !sis Avis
and Venus Tina Loren
and their dog, Neptune.
- Ooh.
- Mighty Aphrodite.
- Yes.
- Venus, Neptune,
and I are divine beings,
and I thought they'd be
wonderfully represented
by this shining, shimmering,
iridescent sequin fabric
with headpieces
that echo the gods.
- I own 51%
of this kibble factory.
- Venus and Neptune
are shining on the runway.
They are looking at the judges
just like I said she should.
Their confidence is beaming.
And I'm a proud mama.
All: Aww!
- Good baby.
- Ooh.
One last time.
Look at them, oww!
- I wonder if they have
matching poop bags.
Up next, Flor, Rosa,
and their dog, Burrito Bouquet.
Oh, look who's here.
Yes, sell the garment, Burrito.
- So on the runway,
we are little naughty girls.
But we're going
to the church with our doggy.
- Oh, look at the little tutu.
- I'm excited for this.
We know what we practiced.
I can see her face.
She's smiling.
She's having fun.
And I'm like, yeah,
just feel it, darling.
Feel yourself.
Finally, Burrito accepted me.
It was so nice.
He let me rub him.
This is just so much fun.
- Drop the chalupa.
[laughter]
- I can see
Michelle Visage smile.
And I'm like, yay,
she's smiling.
And everybody's
just having fun with us.
And that's
the most important thing.
That's what I wanted to achieve.
- You got a chimichanga
under that dress?
- OK!
- Up next, Gabriella
and Isabella Labucci
and their dog,
B'Leaning Tower of Pisa.
- Tonight on the runway,
Aaron, or should I say,
Isabella and I,
are serving prehistoric babes.
I can feel the nerves
coming from Aaron,
but I'm so proud
that he's out here.
He's trying his hardest.
And we are putting on a show
with little B'Leaning
Tower of Pisa.
All: Aww!
- You know, I love a drag
queen that turns tricks.
I mean, that does tricks.
- I was the only one
who had to make over a man.
And I gave womanly shape.
I'm just stoked.
I'm just stoked
that she's out there,
she's smiling,
and you can tell
she's having a good time,
even though she's nervous.
- Is that a brontosaurus
burger in your pocket,
or are you just happy to see me?
[laughter]
[upbeat electronic music]
- Kia ora, queens.
All: Kia ora!
- Aussie, Aussie, Aussie.
All: Oi, Oi, Oi!
- Now, your beautiful dogs are
watching us from the Werk Room.
[tense music]
And now, it's time
for the judges' critiques.
[dog whimpering]
First up, Hollywould Star.
Now, this is Arlene
and Rupert before.
And this is Ava Star
and Ruby Star now.
- You two look beautiful.
I wouldn't say that I get the
strongest family resemblance.
I get more like best friends.
But your performance
was adorable.
I absolutely loved
how well-behaved your dog was.
- Love the outfit.
And I love what you
did with the dog.
It was so pretty.
And he was very well-behaved,
so well done.
[dog barks]
- I love seeing how much fun
you were having on stage.
I loved seeing you like that,
so great job.
- Thank you very much.
- Hollywould, explain to me
what's the story here.
- We have the Hollywould
and Ava Star Resort,
where anyone
who is anybody goes to.
You may see Madonna.
You may see the likes of RuPaul.
- No.
[laughter]
- Oh, God.
- Well, yes.
- No, that's only
because I have cats.
That's... you know, yeah.
- Well, that's why.
- I'm very relieved
that you all thought
Rupert was very well-behaved
because he has
a big personality.
He does lots of yelling.
Hollywould has just made me
feel like a superstar,
so I'm really stoked.
I kind of couldn't
believe it's me.
Never had blonde hair before.
- Never been blonde?
- No.
- Well, darling, all roads
lead to blonde eventually.
- Yeah.
- Up next, !sis Avis Loren.
Now, this is
Taina and Blue before.
Now, this is Venus Tina Loren
and Neptune now.
- Well, Venus,
you really lucked out
out because our !sis
is a bit of a goer
with the sewing machine.
This was a challenge I would
expect you to excel at,
and you slayed it.
The dog, Neptune,
was so adorable
in the little matching jacket.
- I am obsessed with this.
There is
this family resemblance.
But I reckon they maybe
don't really get on,
but they have to run
a business of some sort...
Like the Playboy Club
on Mount Olympus
or something like that.
- I love this.
I think the way you guys
walked on the runway
was very confident.
And I'm a big fan
of your outfits.
- What was your first thought
when you looked in the mirror?
- I didn't even
recognize myself.
I was like, wow,
I do not use bronzer enough.
Automatically,
my confidence went from, like,
here to, like... to there.
- There's padding going on.
- I don't know what you're
talking... what's padding?
[laughter]
- Good answer.
And you're walking in these,
what are those, 6-inch heels?
- Oh, honey.
- Eight.
- Oh, my goodness.
Wow.
- And they're size 11.
- Really?
- And she's size 7.
- Yeah.
- What's the secret?
You keep the...
- On the ball of your foot.
- Keep on the ba*ls.
- Yeah, not the heels.
- On the ba*ls.
- When in doubt,
head for the ba*ls.
Right, Josh?
- Correct.
- Up next, Flor.
Now, this is Grace
and Burrito before.
And this is Rosa
and Burrito Bouquet now.
- First of all, whatever
this cult is, I want to join.
I love it so much.
- I did get a very nurturing
vibe from you guys,
so I did like that.
And it was very cute
and sweet to watch.
- Burrito was adorable
in the little Tutu.
And she let you pick her up,
which was nice, Flor.
I'm getting auntie and niece,
and that is
drag family resemblance.
- I feel like I'm superwoman.
I'm just so grateful and
thankful to be part of this.
And thank you so much,
RuPaul, for doing this
for the rainbow community.
Just coming
from a rainbow family,
it means a lot for us.
Like, we're able
to have this safe place
to show your true colors.
Thank you so much.
- Thank you.
And we celebrate life here.
That's what drag is all about.
It's about colors, and sparkles,
and laughter, and fun.
And you look
absolutely beautiful.
- Thank you so much.
- Really, really gorgeous.
- Thank you.
- Up next, Gabriella Labucci.
This is Aaron and Billy before.
And this is Isabella Labucci
and B'Leaning Tower of Pisa.
- Gabriella
and Isabella Labucci.
- That's where you say...
[in gravelly voice]
Michelle Visage!
- You chose to come out as two
of the most iconic best friends.
And yes, friends are family too.
I get it.
But for me,
I subscribe to the brief,
which is drag family
resemblance... not there.
But this is adorable.
And I do want to compliment
on Isabella's makeup.
- I think
it's a really fun idea.
I think it's really silly.
It's clearly very cold
in prehistoric times.
That's clear.
- It is.
There's no central heating.
- The dog jumping
through hoops, very impressive.
You guys had the most fun out
there, so good job on that.
- And I have to add that Billy
is only ten months old.
- Whoa!
I get really excited
when my dog sits, so...
[laughter]
- Now, walk me
through this process.
- Initially, it was
gonna be the wonk-wonk.
But after all the critiquing
that I've been receiving,
I thought, f*ck that sh*t.
We're getting rid of that.
I think I've
finally understood what it is
that you've been
hinting at with me.
And that is
that I've been using comedy
to hide the fact that I actually
don't feel sexy within myself.
- You certainly did tonight.
Both of you.
- Thank you.
- Thank you, queens.
I think we've heard enough.
I also want to thank
our pooches and their parents
for opening your hearts
to the miracle of drag.
Each of you will receive
a VIP "Drag Race" swag bag,
including Anastasia
Beverly Hills cosmetics
and doggy treats.
All: Aww.
- Yum.
- Queens,
while you untuck backstage,
the judges and I
will deliberate.
[engine starting]
- Time for a c*ck.
- Oh, baby.
- Aww, hi!
What you got, baby boy?
- Coming in to "Untucked"...
- Aaron, darling,
close your legs.
Sit like a lady.
- Ah!
- And I believe that I'm going
to be lip-synching today.
You know, we got
some great feedback.
And then Michelle thought
we didn't look
like a family resemblance.
It would be so amazing
to get to the top three
without ever having
to lip-synch.
But this has happened
to many, many, many winners.
And if I have to do it,
then I'm gonna give a show.
- Gabs, you did
a wonderful job with Aaron.
You both look
so beautiful tonight.
- Just unfortunate that
Michelle hates the concept.
But you know what?
I get it.
I understand
where she's coming from.
I'm proud of what I've done.
The fact that you trusted me
and just went on the journey
with me, it means the world.
- It's been great honestly.
Like, no matter
what happens tonight,
just know that you're amazing.
Just thanks for everything.
- This is one of the blessings
you get from "Drag Race,"
all of us connecting
with our stories,
and the love we have for drag,
and, of course, our puppies.
It means so much.
So thank you all for being here.
Thank you for being
such an amazing sport.
Venus and Neptune
have done me proud.
It's going to be a tough one
to call though
because Flor got great critiques
on their drag family as well.
- I feel very empowered.
I'm just like really thankful
to be part of this experience.
I never imagined
myself sitting down
with such wonderful people.
So thank you so much for,
you know,
making this happen for me.
So proud of Burrito as well.
- Aww!
- Yeah.
- You're all very,
very talented.
And top four is, like, huge.
So what happens now?
- We need to f*cking
practice the lip sync.
Done, so excuse me.
- Let me get my shoes on.
- All right, now just
between us kangaroos,
I want to know what you think
of our challenge,
starting with Hollywould Star.
- Both Hollywould
and Ava looked beautiful.
However, this is
drag family resemblance,
and I saw best friends.
- In the real world,
when you see drag daughters
and their drag mothers,
a huge part of that is,
like, the creation
of what their face looks like
and the shape of it.
And I just wasn't really
getting any from that.
- I actually liked Ava's makeup
better than Hollywould's.
- Hmm, yeah.
- Hollywould does her eye the
exact same way all the time.
I need to see more contouring
in Hollywould's makeup.
- I do agree, but I just saw
something in Hollywould Star.
I can feel people watching her.
And she's going to be
someone's reason to smile.
- That's beautiful.
All right, let's move on down
to !sis Avis Loren
and her drag daughter, Venus.
- They were exactly what
drag family resemblance
is all about,
and the piece de résistance
was the dog
and their performance.
Even the padding on Venus
was like, damn, girl!
It looked so right and so good.
- One of the reasons this is
one of my favorite challenges
we do in this show
is seeing the way the person
being made over
feels themselves on stage.
And Venus was living.
- The way Venus walked
down that runway,
she became a goddess.
Let's move on now
to Flor and Rosa.
- Flor and Rosa
do not look identical,
but you can look at them,
and you could see
a family resemblance.
Baby Burrito
was so cute in the tutu.
And I like how Flor
looked out for Rosa.
That was apparent.
- I love the kind of campy
but sexy vibe
like a couple of nuns
living in "The Hunger Games."
I like that.
[laughter]
The sluttiest virgins for God
I've ever seen in my life.
- Both of their shoes
were the exact same
but different color.
Down to the fine detail,
I really like
what she did with that.
- There was synergy
that those two had.
And I think
it has to do with where
they come from originally.
They overlap with the religious
overtones of their homelands.
And I think the dresses
reflected that.
Also,
Flor really dragged her up.
That was some drag makeup.
All right, let's talk
about Gabriella Labucci
and Isabella Labucci.
- I always love seeing the kind
of campy vibe from Gabriella,
but I think Gabby is going
through an accessing
of her own new superpower
that she's really feeling
her sexual oats.
Like, she's you still campy,
but that face.
She looked beautiful.
She looked pretty.
She looked sexy.
- She gets points for
the evolution of her makeup.
And she did
absolutely look sexy.
And she looks more beautiful.
Where she made the wrong turn
was in going
for these characters.
- That dog was
the star of the show.
So talented, so good.
- Silence!
[dog whimpering]
- I've made my decision.
Bring back my girls.
Welcome back, queens.
Based on your doggy
style makeovers,
I've made some decisions.
!sis Avis Loren, this week,
you made the judges go,
oh, my goddess.
Flor, this week,
you gave us the whole enchilada
and a Burrito too.
!sis,
Flor,
condragulations.
You are both the winners
of this week's challenge.
[upbeat music]
- Ah!
I am so proud.
Ah!
- Yay!
- You've each won $2,500
from our friends
at Anastasia Beverly Hills.
And best of all,
you're both going through
to next week's grand finale.
- So proud, ahh!
[laughing]
- You may step
to the back of the stage.
- Thank you, Ru.
Thank you, judges.
- Thank you, thank you.
Top three, b*tch.
Top three.
Hollywould Star,
Gabriella Labucci,
I'm sorry, my dears,
but you are both up
for elimination.
Two queens stand before me.
Ladies, this is
your last chance to impress me
and save yourself
from elimination.
[tense music]
The time has come for you
to lip-synch
for your life.
- This is the moment that you
all have been waiting for.
There is nothing that's
going to stand in my way.
And there's no way
that Gabriella Labucci
could beat me in a lip sync.
Period.
- I'm honestly sh1tting bricks
about versing Hollywould.
But you know what?
f*ck you, b*tch.
I'm gonna make it to the end,
and I'm gonna beat your a*s.
Watch me take this crown home.
- Good luck,
and don't f*ck it up.
[percussive electronic music]
- [singing] I feel like I'm on
one
Banging on to someone
Before it comes undone,
I'm gonna eat my cake
I'm gonna... [singing]
I'm gonna tear up the lexicon
With a hexagon
and my sexy thong on
No matter where your head is
gone or where you're from
I'ma take you on,
it's not about you
I'ma shake it like I'm Esteban
On an autobahn
with a cordless arm
And I'll see you
at the after-party
In a pink Bugatti
with an evil scar band
It's not about you
All talk, hold court,
oh, Lord, I understood
No more brick wall
I'm brash and f*ck' good
It's not about you, shut up
- Hey!
- [singing]
It's not about me either
- Holly is pulling out
all the stops.
Gabby is also fighting.
She is giving me every single
word to the point, honey.
This lip sync is insane.
- [singing] I'll hit the mark
on the head
I said, I'll bring it
back from the dead
I did all that
while you were in bed
I still had time
to set the next trend
It's not about you, shut up
It's not about me either
I am my sister's keeper
Chill, it's not about you
Shut up,
it's not about me either
It's us versus the grim reaper
Chill, chill, chill, whoo
- Yes, honey, work it!
- [singing] We make your world
bang
What's up, what's up, what's up?
What's happening, Mang?
We make your world bang
Too much of a good thing
It's time to drop,
we're making shapes
And leaving circles in the crop
It's not about you, shut up
It's not about me either
I am my sister's keeper
Chill, it's not about you
[cheers and applause]
[tense music]
- Wow.
[laughs]
Ladies, I've made my decision.
Gabriella Labucci,
shantay, you stay.
- Thank you so much.
- You are going through
to next week's grand finale.
- Thank you so much.
Thank you.
- You may join the other girls.
- I'm so proud of you.
- That's right, baby.
Hollywould Star,
keep on shining.
Now, sashay away.
- Thank you so much.
You've changed my life.
[soft music]
See you in Hollywood!
- I don't really know how
to feel in this moment.
This all happened
very, very fast.
I expected to be
in that top three.
I think everyone else
expected me to be
in that top three as well.
But you know,
getting on the show
is such an amazing opportunity
and is going to change my life.
This is only the beginning,
only the beginning.
See you in Hollywood, where
a girl never tells her age.
- My top three queens.
Now I want to hear from you,
our viewers.
Who do you want to be crowned
"Down Under's"
next drag superstar?
Are you Team Flor?
Are you Team Gabriella Labucci?
Are you Team !sis Avis Loren?
Let your voice be heard
using the hashtag
DragRaceDownUnder.
And tune in next week
when we're going to crown
ourselves a winner, baby.
Until then, remember,
if you can't love yourself,
honey,
how you gonna
love somebody else?
Can I get an amen up in here?
All: Amen!
- All right,
now let the music play.
[upbeat electronic music]
Next time on "RuPaul's
Drag Race Down Under"...
- Ahh!
All: top three!
- You're gonna collab
on my new single,
"Crying on the Dance Floor."
- Oh, my God!
- Yes.
- Wow.
- One of you guys are gonna win.
I don't know what that's like,
but I heard it's really cool.
- Yes.
- I'm just like you.
- [laughs]
- I didn't expect to see
you here in the final.
- You clearly have
this raw talent.
- The next drag superstar is...
